Exactly, except for Willow, Buffy is one of my favorite characters ever on any tv show and usually I hate main characters on tv shows cause they never really show character progression and always push other characters to the back without character development. So then you're stuck with a blamd Main character and bland side characters, but with Buffy it was never the case, at least for me.

This show was SO IMPACTFUL. I love it because FINALLY the HERO is the BLONDE GIRL and she's not running AWAY from the villian...she's running TO them! And they had some of the BEST EVER quotes! :)

I'm so glad I grow up with this legendary show, I actually started respecting it more as an adult than I did as a teen tho... shows like this will never repeat. I hope new generations keep rediscovering it over and over!

This is one of the extremely rare shows where everything about it just worked, the chemistry between the main cast, the humour, the one liners, the fight choreography, the storylines. An absolutely perfect blend
What I love about Buffy is that she just becomes more. And no, I won’t elaborate. She never deteriorates, weakens, or becomes less as a character. She’s had low points but that’s it. She’s just becomes… more.
She does have 1 single moment of character regression. Buffy is staunchly anti suicide in S3 but in S7 she mocks the potential who hung herself. But in 100+ episodes, she can have a single moment during the season the hellmouth is leaking out so much evil the town finally evacuated.

As a sole parent raising 2 kids on my own this show along with 'Angel' was my Thursday & Friday night escape from all the pressures & stress of life. A decade later & my 2 kids were just as hooked as I was & so I re-watched both series from beginning to end with them. It was a great bonding period for the 3 of us.

Started watching this legendary show a month ago... and it's amazing. I love every single minute of it. Buffy, Faith, Spike, Willow, Xander, Anya, Giles, and Dawn are astoundingly fleshed-out characters and so well-written!!! The roles are played so perfectly that I can't imagine anyone replacing them. Also, the Buffy The Vampire Slayer workout is KILLER...
Buffy is the prime example of how to write a "strong female character", especially one with powers. She has personality, displays vulnerability and overcomes it, is brave in the face of real danger and is feminine at the same time.
Buffy is absolutely iconic, but can we also talk about how Glory was so amused when Buffy tried to roast her when she said "they used to bow down to gods"?
Ok but imagine being a 15 year old enjoying your lollipop on the school stairs and this fat, old, unknown man comes and tells you to come with him because your destiny awaits that is beyond creepy
This is why I feel the new show should just make a new slayer instead of recreating Buffy's life as a new race. Its just gonna overlap Sarah's Buffy and that's not fair cause she worked hard to make this girl an icon.

The new show is about a new slayer 20 years after Buffy. So it’s a new slayer but same universe. They are not going to remake any of these storylines or characters. The creator even said there is only one Buffy, one Willow, one Zander, etc. they would never remake this show. It’s a classic!
CinnamonRoll. OMG YES. I got upset about Charmed. At first I was excited until I realized that the girls weren’t even sisters, they were friends and that is bullshit. Friends are important, yes, but the entire story about Charmed were about the three sisters. Later on, it was about moving on and welcoming family.

Paloma Lopez Their is a reboot of Buffy in preparation but It’s gonna be about another slayer but from the 21 century kinda and Joss Whedon works on it 😉
The new show is about a new slayer 20 years after Buffy. So it’s a new slayer but same universe. They are not going to remake any of these storylines or characters. The creator even said there is only one Buffy, one Willow, one Zander, etc. they would never remake this show. It’s a classic!

CinnamonRoll. OMG YES. I got upset about Charmed. At first I was excited until I realized that the girls weren’t even sisters, they were friends and that is bullshit. Friends are important, yes, but the entire story about Charmed were about the three sisters. Later on, it was about moving on and welcoming family.
