I will begin to dive deeper into the lore and explore the setting. I just wanted to do this video first to explain how Poots intends the setting to be experienced.
This is really great. I love that you’re posting your research and highlighting the important points. You’ve become my favorite KDM creator lately; thank you and I hope to see more lore videos in the future!
It is! It has been delayed by me not getting past King in GCE. I have a self-imposed spoiler rule, I am not going to talk about the story implications of the GCE until I have made an episode on it. The Aya episode is pretty much ready to go, I just do not want to spoil GCE while I am still playing through it.
I think that I see your Frosthaven box up on the top shelf, correct? How are you finding it? Curious if you recently took a look at any of the following recently: (1) New Tanares Ultimate (on KS now), (2) Hoplomachus, either Remastered or Victorum, (3) Arydia, (4) Oathsworn, (5) or Tainted Grail and/or Kings of Ruin (after the new 2.0 changes).
I have not played Frosthaven at all. I have actually stopped backing KS this year. I am huge Dwarven Forge nut, and I always go big on their KS's. I did back the reprint Oathsworn, and have Wave 2 of Middara arriving soon. I did not back the new AT:O stuff, not the new Tainted Grail stuff. I do own AT:O and Tainted Grail.
Additionally, I am super impressed with how much you know about this game. As I am totally new to the game, is there a way that you could do a series of videos on top tips and tricks to have a successful campaign? e.g. how to avoid typical pitfalls, and perhaps some critical detail that one should know to optimize their first campaign? Later on, perhaps you could do a video on top builds?
@@BraMithra - ok, I will try to watch your play throughs, but I am quite limited on time, so a shorter more succinct video summarizing a lot of stuff would be super helpful as well. Do what you enjoy and prefer of course but just my thoughts, thanks.
@@Deltium5683 I think my focus will shift to GCE when I get it. GCE is very likely going to change everything up meta-wise. If I did do guides, I would probably stick to "core game guides" as expansions change things up so much.
I made it for when I go to GenCon. It not something for sale. Perhaps I will think about making something for a shirt eventually. I would want to actually have art and such, not just my logo lol.
I want to put out a few second KDM lore video and it just says PLAY. THE. GAME! 😂 The overwhelming amt of people that get this game and want to know how to min max, speed run, and know everything is infuriating. I think the amt of TIME to invest in this game needs to be heavily considered before purchasing it.
Man, I love how you mentioned that the story of monsters is narrated by the game, while the story of survivors is narrated by the player. It’s Kingdom Death MONSTER after all, not Kingdom Death Survivor(s) or whatever you call it.
I struggled to find the best starting point for making lore videos. There are many high concept parts of the lore. This is the most basic look at KDM lore and explains how it is designed to be taken in.
@@BraMithra good start it is, keep it up! Besides, you can always put disclaimers like “spoilers ahead”, I believe spoilers in lore videos are unavoidable.
Yes dude. More lore videos. Love this 🤘🙌
More to come!
Would love to see more of this, the lore is really interesting but with how scattered it is it can feel difficult to put things together.

Thanks for the vid I was actually waiting for something like this for a really long time
No problem! The first one of part 2 should be out very soon, and both should be out by the end of next week.
@@BraMithra excellent
Can't wait for this series!! Thanks
Hope you enjoy it!

Is this series still coming? Did I miss it looking through the videos?

Nice! Always happy to see a new lore video 👹
Glad you enjoy it! The other will be out soon.
Thank you for the video
You're welcome!
I'm very much interested in this series. Looking forward to more!
There will be another lore video very soon, and then the third part that I mentioned right after that.
Any plans on more lore videos?
Yes. After this Black Friday update and seeing if Killenium Butcher releases.
What happened to the other lore vids?

I really try to explain everything I do in play throughs. I will be doing a rules video very soon.

loved the tshirt, is it new? where I can get one?

Yeah, this was one reason I wanted to start with this video. Ensure that players understand that lore can be spoilers and my have differing takes.
we need like a proper lore video, like one were you dont have to care about spoilers

It's just difficult for the author to work out his universe, to build an interesting world, such as in dark souls or a warhammer
