I definitely prefer palette reviews like this when you can clearly see the palette has been used many times and it's not the first time using the palette. Great review, looks and swatches. I have this palette too. Poodle, Tickled and Opulent are my fave.

merry christmas my loves!! just wanted to pop in but i completely to mention in my review about staining, i feel like im gonna get some questions about it. on my skin tone, the shade "sandbar" did stain my skin a little, but the next day it is completely off my skin! i do think if u were lighter than me, then the staining will be a lot more noticeable!

I just ordered this palette!! I love to do pink make up and I agree with you when you say this palette is not unique, but at least I feel I can have all the colours I need for my usual looks in just one palette so I don't need to carry 3-4 palettes around just for my usual make up! Also I love your demos!! they gave me a new perspective on some of the colours!

I'm only halfway through the vid so far, but I had the urge to comment now bc I wanna tell you that you don't have weird inner corners! I think you're so gorgeous, and we all need to stop picking at our looks!! (I also knew I didn't need to wait until the end bc I've really liked every one of your vids :) I love that pop of vibrant pink color on your inner corner, & now I'll def be trying that out once my palette arrives (in prob weeks 😕) from CP! This look is so outside the box of the blueprints or "recipes" of the vast majority of eye looks on RUclips, & I love that! I know it was a take on Kylie’s creation, but had you not included this, I (& others who steer clear of Kardashians/Jenners lol) would’ve never gotten a chance to see it-so thank you! Side note: I know you said the colors weren't original and can be found in other palettes, but you forget that probably the majority of tutorial-viewers don't own loads of palettes, like you & other posters do. I finally skipped forward when you were talking at length about that because it was raining on my excitement for this palette to arrive... For most women, smthg like this is totally unique. No hate, though! Jeez this is super long, so I apologize for that! Kinda embarrassed...😕

The shades poodle and sandbar you can get as a single. Opulent is in the element of surprise palette and Moon Struck is in the you had me at hello palette, as you say many overlapping shades in this palette 😅
Also p sure that Trove is in the Fortune palette, Soo much overlap! Esp if you're a collector 😭

Yep I realized I had those singles lol I think I was duped by this palettes layout and that I’m a sucker for these types of shades!
I totally wish that they had moonstruck as a single shadow, while i love the other colors that one really stood out for me. Love your looks

I love your reviews and I will watch them, whether I want the product, decided to skip the product or already have the product. Your looks and ideas are inspiring and I love how can get so much out a single palette.
Also I think the oh la la palette was more like a collection palette because 4 of the 9 shade already exist in other palettes and as single shadows. Same goes for the rendezvous and the sweet nothing palettes.

I initially bought this palette specifically cuz I heard Sandbar is a close dupe for Sugarpill's Dollipop. Pretty close! But I ended up loving the whole palette ❤❤ this was my 1st Colourpop experience & it made me a total fan.

There is no way you can catch up to colourpop on reviews lol i wouldnt doubt they will hint at a new collection this week even though the karen x colourpop is launching tomorrow. I loved your review. I do prefer your original looks better then inspired looks. You have the most original and fun looks. I did find that 2 of the shades do leave a bit of stain on my eyes. But I love the pink palette.

Martha Tejeda I went a little crazy with the sale. You could always get one of the palettes that have pinks in them, but aren't the entire palette.

Im not sure if they are each still available right now, but at one point three of the shades in this palette where actually available on Colourpop's website to purchase as single shadows. Those three shades where Poodle, Soft Core, and Sandbar.

I’m wondering if someone will compare this to the huda beauty pink neon obsessions palette, I’m considering which one to get and they both look fairly similar at first glance.
Sandbar is also an existing shade from the singles :) also I wouldn’t recommend buying from bh cosmetics anymore, they haven’t been sending entire orders out. They’ve been horrible about responding to concerned customers and have apparently been rude about the whole situation. I ordered a brush set, the shaaanxo palette and an eyeprimer, waited sooo long for them to ship out my products and when I received my order the brush set was missing (that was supposed to be a xmas present) and on the order receipt it said that it was sold out 🤔 but it wasn’t.

Lots of good bonus information that I really appreciated, especially in the third demo. I hadn't thought about how to layer extremely similar shades in a gradient. I'll try that tomorrow as an exercise to help me improve my blending. I love pink and purple shadows but it's always a challenge to not look like I just had an allergic reaction. This will help! I have Money Side Up and Uno Mas but haven't tried layering those two yet. What technique do you use to blend lip shades together? I'm going on a no-buy year so I'll need to be making my own colors.
i just take a lip brush and take a bit of both straight from the tube!

it depends on your collection i guess. like for the average person that isn't a youtuber or doesnt have large collections of palettes this would add to their collection. a good amount of the shades i didnt have in my collection and i have about 10 palettes. im really glad i picked it up!
