I know that the car transport trailer industry is always looking to lighten the weight of trailers. My question is: This trailer with 2 tires on each side, in case a puncture and the drive doesn't notice, wouldn't it be risky for this drive to run with a tire on one side and with a load of 3 cars?
Kaufman 3 car wedge trailers run 3 tires on each side.

This trailer empty weight starts at 5800#. How can you haul 3 cars with a 5800# 14k trailer? What is the pin weight?

I’m really interested in car hauling business. You mentioned no CDL required but if I have Ford F-350 Diesel engine, this nice trailer, and 3 cars on it, isn’t that gonna be more than 26k ?
They can make the trailer 12k instead of 14k if you have a drw
@@gilbertperez1337 Most Duallys are 14000GVRW, so add this 12000GVRW trailer and you have 26k non-cdl setup
So does total weight with the load not matter for non cdl, as long as your gvwr is under 26,000?

@@adammasseydhs4548 total weight does matter, I’m looking into getting in the business as well, your GVWR has to be 26,001lbs or less as well as Truck, trailer & load weight.
Question Vin number location location I got a trailer he got a label with the Vin number but you hardly can’t see it
