Yes Jeff, exactly what we think in Bend lol. For some reason it's 45 on US 97 all the way through Bend. The explanation that I've heard is that it's the "parkway" and the current on ramps and off ramps can't accommodate higher speeds.
Gonna watch this before I go to bed and get up early tomorrow and drive a semi truck at trucking school tomorrow. Only going to be my second lesson so hopefully I do well. Keep up the good vids Jeff!

For someone that has been living in Spokane for over 15 years its cool to see a RUclipsr that i have been watching for 5 years its cool and also its pretty close to reality woth suck a small scale.
I lived in Bend, Oregon for 5 years and I knew exactly which roads Jeff was on! What's funny is the devs actually put a generic car dealership, gas station, etc where a real life one would be except it's scaled down of course.
I will NEVER get used to seeing spokane in a game it’s so weird seeing my town in skmething😂
I went to spokie in 2010 and loveed it, manito park was the best!

Lol, Jeff and every other person driving on 97 through Bend IRL wondering why it's 45 and then hitting the traffic lights at the edge of town. Classic, and very accurate from SCS!
That gas station that Jeff went to in Bend is actually the Arco on the corner of 3rd Street and Greenwood Blvd. If you look at street view you'll see that there's no way you would want to fill up at this station in a truck lol

Jeff, I'm going to school to get my CDL here in Oregon soon and become a local truck driver. I would like to work for myself someday as well. Glad you are doing ATS again I love this series.
I remember when they built the Parkway (the new Hwy 97 alignment) through Bend. I was 9.
The speed limit is indeed 45. Oregon has notoriously low speed limits; 60-65 on interstates, 55 on state highways, 45 on a lot of county roads and even highways in the city.

Switching between high and low gears only works in neutral. Been that way in ATS for awhile.
Always love the ATS videos. I finally bought and downloaded a Zeemods sound pack and total game changer wish I would have done so earlier! I was on an ATS hiatus hadn't played in months and months started playing again recently got the zeemods sound pack this past week it has revitalized my love for ATS.
When you do the plane spotting at Logan Airport one good spot is on top of the parking garage
I had an ‘86 Fiero SE, V6 with a 3-speed auto (which ruined the value of the V6) and it is still one of my 2 favorite cars ever owned. It wasn’t exactly reliable but it sure was enjoyable.

The only thing that would be a great add to this game would be that the graffiti and bums tents I do Oregon runs, because it’s where I live and is my home state. I would like to buy the rest of the maps and I want to get the trucker box with microphone

Holy shit ive done this drive like 20 times, its one of my absolute favorite if you take the offshoot of the highway roughly 50 miles north of bend through the hood forest, a dazzingly beautiful forest that exits you east of Portland and you get to drive on the gorge all the way back to tri citys and then to spokane. Driving along the gotlrge also lets you see the beautiful waterfalls and amazing cliffs on the south side!

Hey Jeff, always love your videos man. I don't know if you've ever done videos on Farming Simulator or not? Recently a mod new map came out Alma, Missouri. I'm from Missouri too and this map actually got me motivated to start playing again. Always love ATS, havnt played in 4 years. Been waiting for Missouri, then build an even better PC setup.
