Why LOD on high?
some people postet it on there web poages... it has somthing to to with the path accurecy of the sensor on differnt kind of pads and the amount "sink in" into a ultra soft pad for exampl compared to a hard pad. Basicly LOD high helps u always have the best possible path corection by a pixart sensor. happy googeling
Just curious, what's the reasoning behind having the LOD on 2 mm compared to 1 mm? Great review and very informative thank you!
firstly there is the moiré effect and secondly the so-called typical path variation. The sensor diode and the emitted light are also different. also the sensitivity of the sensor to light and other things at high lod. I would say it's like looking deeper into the bottle.
