I'm a 69 yr old male from Surrey BC. I've played guitar off and on ( mostly off!) for 50 yrs. My hands are munched from years of labour but I still like to learn a lick or two now and then. I enjoy these types of videos because they are short and simple. Keep it up, we appreciate out here!
Angela, you are a wonderful instructor, it's like you are talking directly to me. This 66 yo is getting back into playing and you make it so much easier to learn these classics. Love your personal approach and the length of your video dedicated to just one song.
I love the way she teaches Many people on these sights are on an ego trip and many times are showing off She takes the time to break it down and show you everything in detail. She had become my favorite instructor by far Keep up the great work If you could show us YOU GOT THE SILVER I would be very grateful
tuning via RUclips from london. only here because the drummer got to pick a song. not a stones fan but you made that look really simple. thanks. and for the first time in 35 years i tuned and played in open g. double thanks
Angela - this was really fun and I was surprised how the hybrid picking added so much...yet wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Thanks for this. Keep it up. Really enjoying your approach. 1 hr is perfect.
Just found this on youtube, great lesson. I know what I will be doing with my maple neck tele tomorrow (late now with sleeping family). Thanks for taking the time to produce this.
Angela…. Just found you on RUclips….. already taught me a bunch!! Really enjoyed this lesson and doing more…. Thank you!! You are an inspiring instructor!! 6/11/23…. 11pm est
Hi Angela, I’m a mature-age learner in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia on my Mooer GTRS. Many guitar players can demonstrate, but, you are a teacher. Thank you. I can learn from a good teacher. My favourite Rolling Stones album? None. I was not a fan. Preferred Hank Marvin and romantic ballads. But, but, but, now, I am playing Keith Richard’s! David
I love that you throw some basic theory into your explanations of what's happening. Great teaching technique to use, useful for students' understanding and ear training.
great lesson! everyone plays it different, including Keith! What a great song to learn, mix a little country and funk with some rock n roll! Thank you!
Angela, That was an awesome lesson, I love the Stones I think you are by far one the better teachers breaking it down to the T! I love your lessons, and teaching method sweet!
Yes yes yes 👍 🤙 I’ve loved your tuto for Wild horse, I am so happy you did Honky tonk 😀 You speak fast for an old frenchie as me, but I follow you 😜 More more more tunes... thank you for the time you spend on those helpful video’s. Cheers 🇫🇷
Great Stuff thank you - South Africa. Black and Blue, and a toss up between Sticky Fingers :-) and Goat's Head Soup. Interesting on the Open G tuning. Got to try it!
I don't believe anyone anyone mentioned this album, but after Exile, my fave album is "Get Your Ya-Yas Out"! Maybe this should be in a separate category - 'Best Live Album'. Anyway, it is special to me because I was there for this tour, and the album still just rocks - Mick Taylor is a monster, and the songs, even tho some are covers, show the Stones at the top of their live power.
Favourite Stones albums: Exile on Main St; Some Girls; Tattoo You; Steel Wheels; and Bridges to Babylon (who else could write a song as extraordinary as “Out of Control”)
watching on you tube from outside of Boston,MA 25 miles north. So you prefer standard tuning for honey tonk? btw I like most stone records lately learning some songs from black and blue. nicely done
Completely out of the box. Angela could you would you do a lesson from the band Gomez. Song that I want to learn correctly is "Free to run " Thank you so much
I was going to thank you for the great lesson and to say how great of an instructor you are. I don't know if it is your natural way or if you developed your method but it's very effective, not at all jumbled and confusing and not at all demeaning in the way that some instructors have to teach Mary had a little lamb or on top of ole smoky almost immediately losing favor with the student. Anyway, it doesn't look like I have to tell you!! Every other comment was how great you are at teaching.
Just subscribed to your channel, excellent lessons. Have not had a chance to go look at everything but could you (or will you) do "Lady Jane" by the Stones or some Jethro Tull. Actually, is there a listing of all your lessons?
Iam on UTUBE from West By God Virginia love the way you teach also Keith Richards only use 5 strings on his guitar 🎸 i don't have a favorite album but a like a lot of songs from them !!!!!!!!
That’s a beautiful Tele. I love maple neck k and fretboard. I’m in Bendigo Australia. Tattoo You is fave album. Have you tried Keith’s tuning which includes removing the first string. Will blow your mind. Bless you. You’re an awesome young lady. God bless ♥️🙏
What about All right Now I heard thats in this tunning or Jumpin Jack Flash or Tumbling Dice a bunch of songs the problem is most of us have only one guitar n dont wanna mess up our tunning pegs so be best to have several guitars n I only got strat copies two one I love cuz its a mix of single coils n a double like a gibson I love that thing even though its only a Squire like a fender on a learners permit. Ha LOL!

I love the way how you teach guitar you don’t rush through everything, you show everything to detail , slowly ,I have learnt a lot from you
Thank you
