Hung out with Sam for a few hours before their show the other night just talking and shit while the openers were inside playing. I basically knew what he was saying in this song was a true story and he reiterated it was along with all his lyrics which I love. He also went way more in depth about it and explained more. Dude is cool as shit. 10/10

You guys really do a great job reviewing the Cofendants! I agree that Brutiful is one of the best songs on the album This is Crime Wave. I think Ceschi really drives it home with "we can't expect people to forgive our past". The Codefendants are arguably one of the best bands of 2022 and 2023. I would love to hear more music from the Crime Wave genre. Consider reviewing Fast Ones! that's a great track on this album too, but then again most of them are.
