I don’t think it’s just Koreans though. I live in Australia and I know lots of people who think the same way. The only reason I knew was because I grew up in Hong Kong which is very international and I had friends from Africa, otherwise if I grew up in Australia I would have probably been just as ignorant.

I agree, they do have internet access and can "google" things, but at the same time Africa is HUGE. So many different countries with so many different ways of doing things, that's a lot to educate yourself about. Heck, I'm African and don't even know a lot about the majority of the other countries. So being ignorant of some things is okay, especially given how misleading a lot of information out there about Africa is (that part is obviously not okay) I'm just saying we can't really get mad everytime someone shows ignorance, but we can point it out and correct to them.

Guys Africa is a continent, just like America. A lot people think that America is just "United States of America" , so I see that people also think that Africa is the name of a country 😑, at school I was taught about all the continents. I don't mistake Asia for China, I know China is an Asian country. Before was easy to get information and now is even easier, I can't believe people make such a big mistake and more when you are from a country that has the best internet ever.

Yes they are some countries in Africa that are deprived and need help. But show me a county in the world that doesn't have areas that are too deprived and need help. Africa is a continent that has 54 countries, just like Asia is a continent that has 48 counties to which one of the those countries is South Korea. Which country in Africa is he talking about? Which country did he go to that he was recognized? Which country invited him?
Also, I grew up in Nigeria (a country in the African continent) and we had more than 600 Tv channels in the 1990s. By now, that channel count would have increased to about 1000. So which country are you saying that they don't have many channels at 3:59?
