So I went back and reviewed all the trades in the trade deadline, and this is the total assets given and recieved: Shea Weber, Brendan Gallagher, Jonathon Drouin, Jeff Petry, Tomas Tatar, Josh Anderson (2.125 mil retained), Tyler Toffoli, Arturri Lekhonen, Joel Armia x2, Josh Brook, Jordan Weal x2, 2 2nds, a 3rd, and 2 4ths for Fleury, Shattenkirk, Beauvillier, Bobby Ryan, Jon Merrill, Joakim Ryan, Adam Ruzicka, Vinni Lettier, Henry Rybinsky, 4 1sts, 6 2nds, 2 3rds, and a 6th. This doesn't include the second Toffoli trade either. Crazy amount of players/picks coming in and out, too bad all the trades got cancelled. Also it's obviously a glitch because Armia, Weal, and Toffoli were traded twice, that obviously can't happen IRL. Great vid nonetheless lol!
I've had this issue before in NHL 20. Sometimes the CPU offers a trade that doesn't work for the salary cap. It will allow you to accept it, but the trade doesn't go through. Only way I figured it out was by trying to offer the CPU the same exact trade, but it wouldn't let me send it due to the cap. Hope this helps!
The trades are auto declined because one of the teams involved in the trade can't afford the contract after the 1st Year. (An unseen extension is usually the cause. The "trade finder" is unable to track pre-signed extensions. EA are crap at everything, Maths is no different.
Trades is a glitch in the game. The deadline deals often don’t actually work in terms of cap and rosters so they just don’t go through. Sometimes they also trade the assets involved in the deal while you’re accepting it which will again not let it go through. This has been an issue since day 1.
When I do find trade and I accept the trade often times the player will stay on the team for me as well. I think it’s a glitch where the team is “offering” a trade they actually don’t want to accept because when I use the find trade and I go to edit trade and offer it that way the team says “sweeten the value just a touch.” So I think it’s a thing where the teams are offering trades they actually aren’t willing to make which is so incredibly dumb, but not nearly the dumbest thing in this game lol

Hi. All the way from sweden I have a suggestion. Why dont you do a "all trades accepted" and then do the draft in the same season. Would be fun to see if you could get a great prospects team/pool or if the draft picks you receive are just going to nothing. And excuse my grammar, but I think you´ll understand what i´m saying.
I think it would be fun to do an expansion draft. Be the kraken and ruin them before they’ve even existed 🤣 and maybe ruin Ron Francis’ reputation simultaneously
That is deffiently a glitch in the game for trade deadline it happend to me too in one of my franchises to it wouldn't let me trade certain players i even tried 3 times and it never went trough its weird and deffinently need to be fixed it only happens on trade deadline
I wish you would go through and customize your rosters to what you believe they should be. Clearly Anderson is not an 80 overall.. he’s that because of his injury riddled season. He’s more like an 83 at the very least and Suzuki should be med elite.
suggestion: for some of the All Trades Accepted videos, say that you dont want second/third/fourth round pics so you can get players back in return (and because i think 2nd rounders are overrated in this game)
It would be interesting to take draft picks off the "interested in" so more trades would be players based rather than moving guys for 2nds and 3rds. You should also run through the following draft to see what all these picks actually turned into.
