No matter how many times I've seen the logo, still find the gray celica and Upshift Unlimited logo. Insightful video, awesome!

It's great to see you got something out over the Christmas period. I hope you enjoyed any holidaying you got to do!
As much as I'm not usually a fan of convertible porsches, it's nice to get a bit of a look into what one's like.
Also! I've had my own Celica for a good few weeks now and between fixing little things that needed doing I've really enjoyed getting familiar with the car. Its bodywork isn't in the greatest shape, but it's certainly fun.
One of the headlights was actually cracked when I bought it, so it gave me the opportunity to try aftermarket lights out. They turned out to be pretty easy to install and they certainly look great. I don't really have comparisons between them and the stock ones, but here's some photos if you're interested in seeing how that came up.

Cloudedice thank you, I did have a good holiday! Hoping to get a GoPro soon to improve the video quality.
I've been looking at buying those headlights for YEARS, but instead went for the HID conversion. How do you like them??? I love the dark blue color of course 😏
Congrats on the new ride 😎

Thanks! I'd say the colour was a happy coincidence. XD
Just visually, I really like the way these headlights look on the Celica. Their black colour ties the car's look together nicely and I feel like they have good, aggressive lines to them. I wasn't so much a fan of the upper bulge in the original lights, so that they run pretty much flush with the body line is an extra little bonus for me.
Performance-wise, they're brighter and clearer (the seller I bought them from supposedly included 4500K halogens) than the originals which were pretty thoroughly clouded and in need of a good clean. Unfortunately I haven't taken much opportunity to go night driving since making the switch.
I'll certainly be looking forward to seeing the difference if you do get a GoPro, although as far as I've been able to tell your videos up to now have had pretty great quality anyway!

Cloudedice thanks man! Let me know how they perform after you try them out at night! I don't love the headlight bulge on the stock ones either, but they work fine w the HIDs I install so I can't complain :P

Yeah, even faded the stock lights worked reasonably well for me. I think I'll try to get some proper night driving in before whenever your next video goes up, so I can leave my thoughts for you then.

My celica is making a grinding/rattling noise whenever i am going a constant speed and above 3000 rpms. Any gear. But stops after i accelerate or decelerate. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Moosy Moose I'm not positive as to what it would be, I would take it to a mechanic to get it checked out. Also be sure it has enough oil! Mine will sometimes sound dry/rattle if it's low on oil.

Boxster is not a rear engine car, it's a middle engine.

Would a 2002 Celica GT at 220,000 miles for $2,800 be a good deal? I'm not sure how long these cars last or the common problems.(please inform me on this) Also the certain Celica looks like it has mixture of a matte and glossy hood which doesn't look stock. Here is the link if you want to check it out. I know you're not an expert and that I'd have to actually look at the car physically first to determine if I should get it, but just assume that everything is fine with it.

John it looks pretty decent! Exterior condition looks pretty good. 221K miles is getting up there, but as long as it's been taken care of these things can go forever lol. One issue you may encounter is that 00-02 GTs have oil burn issues. Not every single car, but it's very common amongst the GTs. My car has the issue, but the one before did not. Check out my video on the issue if you'd like. I would say to go check it out in person, but from the one picture it looks pretty decent.

that's overpriced. 1) high mileage 2)you can more than likely find a gts for that much 3)the seats look really worn out, even the back seats lol 4) that hood is stock lol. its just has plastidip sprayed on it, just like the wheels.
