Medium gain NTE102 germanium, NOS Philips “Tropical Fish” Film and BC Electrolytic caps, Allen Bradley Carbon Comps, UK made Cliff jacks, Carling DPDT foot switch, and Omeg potentiometers. This build was inspired by photos of Stevie’s Diaz modded Fuzz Faces from the late 70s and early 80s. Special care has been taken to cut just enough bass to provide more of the Hendrix type of fuzz/overdrive sound than the muddy, sound of the stock units without losing the Fuzz Face character.
