Im not normally "that guy" but Joseph got hosed on those calls. When a yellow drops, it reverts back to who lead the last lap....nobody races back to the yellow. But its funny how they dont race to the yellow on the second pass

Exactly I've never heard of a dirt track race ever racing to the line. Always goes back a lap.

Seems they were determined to give the “top” guy the win no matter what!! Joseph plain out got hosed!!
The fix was in
Normally when the leader, sometimes plus a couple cars, passes the line it'a considered a lap. Several leaders had crossed before the pile up and the transponder had Overton in front. Even if it looked like Joiner was in front, his nose could've been built a little bit longer, or his right side axle could've been set back further than Overton's. Little things make the difference.

@@alvarsdzenis4739 not true lol. I’ve been a tech faster than what the track time showed. But we got it corrected.
@@ScooterLee-ei1ep That may be true in an isolated case, but that's not what happened there on that night. Everyone else's timing and scoring was accurate both before the event, during the event and after the event. The system uses a binary system, which means it either works correctly, or doesn't work at all. There's no "in-between" It could also depend on where the scoring loop contact is located. It may not be located at the start/finish line.
I guess it’s a little bit easier to be the number 1 guy when the officials make every call in your favor

Drove 3+ hrs to see Joseph and HTF, worth every minute. Most exciting race I think I have ever seen. Great Job! My first time at Senoia, and the atmosphere there was awesome!!!
Buddy u lived my weekend. I was supposed to be there but plans changed last minute. Glad u had a good experience. I've been around the HTF crew a couple times , and they're just as casual in person as they seem on RUclips. HTF ,first class all the way.
Philip Brown my uncle lives about 2 miles from that track! I can here them when I’m up at his house! I live in South Georgia and I like Hunt the Front! I bought my father in law a shirt he got too wear it 3 times before he passed away August 28th! Then I ordered me a Hunt the Front hat!

With the success yall have had in the super late model and the overall quality of the Draime motor. Maybe yall can get a partnership with Draime for next year

Usually engine builders dont like to "sponsor" cars, because then guys complain of favoritism. But there are builders who do deals with chassis builders. I'm sure capital has a deal worked out with a builder in georgia, remember capitals originally came from a dirt racer and an engineer.

Overton is my favorite driver but I was literally screaming at the computer for you guys. Great fricking run guys. Joseph keeps driving like that he's gonna turn some heads. Also great to see my Buckeye state represented so good with that Draime engine. I told you guys it will be stout. I've watched them run for years. Good luck and great drive again.

I’d take a look at where that receivers mounted because it looked like we had a nose on Overton at the line to me
transponder locations are mandated and checked regularly.
Alvars Dzenis they’re supposed to be. However we all watched the same video
@@dustingragg don't believe what you saw. your eyes can easily deceive you depending on speed, angle, elevation, etc. seeing how transponder location and frequency is checked in pre race tech, everyone's is in the same location. on the right rear axle tube. i checked with another racer that raced there in that event, and yes they checked them. electronic scoring doesn't lie. that's why the htf bunch didn't protest. they got beat fair and square is all. i wish them the best of luck. they're going to need it swimming in the deep end of the pool. i think the driver is capable, but the rest of them are just a bunch of pit lizards with no idea how to run a professional team. been there, done that. but that's how you learn. cheers.

I don't think it matters but I'm not sure. They always tell us to put them on the blockplates. But doesn't seem to matter if it's on the tail or next to the radiator so who knows. But Joesoph definitely was ahead of him by a foot at the flagstand. But maybe the start/finish line is before that.

Lawd Have Mercy Boys!!! What a dern race...... Couldn't pull this video up quick enough this morning!!!!!! Senoia was our home track when I was crewing for a guy back in the 80's and 90's It was dirt then asphalt then back to good ol dirt! Y'all did an awesome Job and probablly should have won that race, overton knows it to! Keep it up Boys you never know where the good Lord is taking Y'all:)
Good job! From an old stock car racer and trackside parts vendor at Bakersfield Speedway out In CA. Now retired and residing in Ky. Love your rear spoiler too! I lived in Crestview for a short while back in the 1960's. Small world indeed. God Bless you all!
Jonathan has got the best video’s on you-tube ; bogus call at the line ; who wouldn’t want to buy apparel from Shadow.. Joseph had the car to beat, he’s got it figured out. Also I stand corrected, Joseph is doing a fine job as driver/crew chief, he has come into his own . Great to see and a joy to watch. The crew is outstanding..

Jonathan: Favorite Scenes - JJ and Jonathan's giddy excitement and realization of possibly qualifying on pole was great! "We about to be on pole!" Surprised and very real! Maybe even better than after the Main event finish......Also really liked Kayla's genuine excitement and competitiveness while filming the main event! Really adds to the video. Good stuff.....Great voice. Works well on video......Liked Kayla proudly riding on race car back to the pits with her man after the main event!.......Loved seeing Tennison and all his racing buddies running thru the trailer....LOL....Having fun and creating lifelong memories......Bumper Talk....2 for 2 for Jessie....Good idea. Good hearing Jonathan's informed opinion too. Jonathan has lived it for many years so good to hear.....Shadow deserved major kudos for working on her birthday!.....Jonathan, seems like you have already started but I would suggest making sure Shadow gets a little more attention and energy from you throughout this coming year......Always remember, where is Shadow's reward for all her hard work for HTF?.....She has all the potential to be a star in this thing. Went down to Senoia from Nashville to watch in person for the first time. I gotta say its way more fun in person..as far as this race went, these guys came so close to beating one of the top Super late models in the country and that's impressive!

I was really glad to see your car running and handling so good and driven by such a great wheelman as Joseph, That car was on a rail and Joseph knew right where the rail was and never put a wheel wrong! That was a great race and you were bit by a couple bad breaks, especially that caution. Congratulations to you all! That was the most fun race I've seen this season except for the outcome of that caution. I agree with those that see that Joe had the 10's nose in the lead but God only knows whose transponder was in front. Apparently the electronics know that Overton's transponder was in front. I guess as an ex-racer and now just an old fan, I'd rather to visually see the nose of the car win a race. Perhaps it's time for the sport to re-examine transponder mounting rules?? Good luck and good breaks in the future and thanks for the great videos!

Spent all summer watching dirt LM, sprinters & Indycar...haven't watched one NASCRAP race and haven't missed it.
NASCAR is nothing like it used to be. They have changed so many rules its just stupid now. I love dirt track racing my favorite is the wing sprint cars. Great race though you guys should of won if it wasn't for the dang caution.
