    Leave it fingers that stuff
    Just apply required valen electrons - available valen electrons = No of electrons
    And divide No of electrons /2 here comes your no of bonds/bond order
    For example CO
    Available valence electrons 4+6=10
    Required valence electrons are 8+8 =16
    Subtract 16-10=6 electrons
    Divide 6 electrons /2 =3
    Here no of bonds /bond order are three
    Write it all on rough try it ..twice

    Sir N22- (nitrogen mole with -2 charge) is para magnetic but
    no. of electrons in n22-=14+2 = 16
    Which is even, this n22- comes up as diamagnetic
    But its para
    Correct me if I am wrong and sol to this?

      This is an exception whenever there 10 and 16 no. Occured then they will be paramagnetic
