Her songwriting abilities are probably greater than those from many Voice contestants. Apart from that, she was on the middle of a concert, pretty tired already. Look for her acoustic videos and see what a distinctive voice she has.
Her music and voice have an ethereal ambience, which happens to not translate well, sonically, in large arenas. Given the type of music, I think she's doing the best with what she's got.
