You’re a great guy people in my opinion admire you as do I great work great content love being subscribe to all your channels like I said, except TikTok and Instagram. Keep up the good work I’ll be watching.💯👍
I just love how Josh describes his environment and experience always with enthusiasm and passion . It really radiates and make his videos even more awesome! Thanks for this Japan series and the everything else!! ❤
The beginning was fun watching the Pokemon Park but when you all went to that center for elderly people I was heartbroken. Being a caregiver in Quebec it just made me cry it was so sad seeing all these pictures of them being happy and watching the footage of the earthquake and seeing them so scared it’s broke my heart. We are so lucky here to not have disasters like that and being safe in our homes sometimes we don’t realize that other people are dealing with tragedies. You did a great video! 🥰
The video of the elderly people during the earthquake show exactly what type of people caregivers are, hugging and reassuring the residents during such a terrifying event without a thought of whether they're putting themselves in harms way. Id hate to know what happened to many of the residents as both the mental and physical stress must have caused further heartbreak id imagine. It was a difficult watch for sure 😥
This is really a well put together documentary of Fukushima and what ordinary people in the area had to leave behind. Really appreciate all you have put into this. Thank you Josh x
I’ve lived in Japan for over 17 years and I remember the earthquake/tsunami/Fukushima disaster really well. The government is trying to encourage people to go back to the towns by offering incentives and grants for rebuilding their houses but many don’t want to go back because they are worried about radiation or a tsunami happening again in the future. Homeowners insurance is pretty good here so rebuilding elsewhere was not necessarily beyond people’s means. I live in Kyushu and a lot of people from Tohoku and Fukushima ended up out here and just stayed.
Totally respectful of the personal tragity suffered by the Japanese people of Fukashima. Considering the extremely limited time frame you have at each site you are producing a well documented "pocket history" of the events/aftermath of the 2011 earthquake/tsunami. It is nice to see the sensitivity/respect you show at each place you visit. We look forward to your next video in this series. Tony & Linda, Portsmouth, UK.
Love all those clips before the actual abandoned place. Showing us the place your staying at, the trees by the river, taking us with you to seven eleven. Thank you josh and the rest of the crew for showing us places most of us will never get to see ❤
I felt what you felt in that building. I have such a heart for the elderly. I can't even imagine what they went through and feeling so scared and helpless. Sadness was felt at every corner of that building. What I found interesting is that this nursing home once was alive and looked to be such a happy place to spend the rest of your time left. Unlike most of the nursing homes in the US. Even the amount of supplies and extra comfort they put into their patients is nothing that you would see here, at least not what I've seen living on the east coast. This must be so humbling to you all who are there filming and experiencing all of this tragedy. It's amazing to be able to watch your journey. Thank you!
Thank you and the guys for doing this! Been a subscriber for so long and the abandoned explores are always amazing! Loving this series! You are documenting history. 🔥Thanks again!
This one is a good old Josh style video and i still love every single minute. I just love how you're talking about the elderly people and the dramatic situation. Thank you so much for taking us to all the places. ❤
The one thing that I love about your videos is the compassion that you show and have for those less fortunate and those who have lost everything. Thanks for taking out the time to show us the devastation that they had to go through. So sad!! 😢.
Josh, you are so inspiring to many people I’m sure of it. I am a big fan of your channel and content. I wish I could say I’ve watched every video of yours but I just don’t have the time but when I do find time your channel is where I go to. I enjoy watching a fan Kimberly 😊❤💯.
I love watching you go into these places and help tell the story of those people who lived here. If people don’t talk about what happened, it often times gets forgotten in history. These peoples stories and experience should never be forgotten. We remember the natural disasters but forget the people that were in it and lived it. I also love how you are always respectful and not there to “put on a show”.
Josh wouldn't it be amazing if family members of the woman who's "Memories" book you found & shared saw your video. They would know that their relative's photo album was still there, unharmed. It could be an amazing way to help the family if that woman has passed.
Yet again awesome video, this one’s so sad,I’m a caregiver and seeing the old folks home and everything left behind breaks my heart, can’t wait to see what’s next😊
So incredible and amazing to see all of that. So terribly sad and I pray for everyone. Love your videos Love the time you take for the history and the respect you give. Many blessings and safe travels ❤
It's so amazing to see how you can document all these incredible places, even more the ones nobody can casually explore. Cool to see how well preserved some parts even are. Love from Belgium!
I love how this video shows the main differences between the Chernobyl disaster and the Fukushima Disaster. People are already being allowed back to Fukushima 12 years later. The reactors at Fukushima were in separate buildings designed to contain a meltdown, the old Soviet ones weren't. People won't be allowed back, in mass, to Pripyat for thousands of years because of how unsafe the Soviet reactors were. This is an amazing video. Love you Josh.
Josh I loved this video, absolutely amazing! I felt the sadness seeing the photographs of the elderly people from the carehome, think it hit me more because my mum is in a Dementia Nursing Care Home and I was thinking if that happened and I wasn't with her how scary it would be. You have such a good soul Josh, you're caring and respectful, and I love your energy. Brilliant work as always Josh, thank you❤
I’ve been following you since your first Japan series and when you started doing paranormal it made it much more exciting. I love Japan & scary stuff so it’s a win win for me no matter what you post. Love how humble you are & I love everything about your channel & the hard work you put in. Keep these dope videos coming, Josh. 🤍 🤍
Oh and I loved how you included actual footage along with translation of the actual disaster, just makes you feel more for those people and what it must've been like for them.
*PLEASE READ THIS, PLEASE!!* JOSH, I just seriously love you for doing this. I already said that in my last comment, but THANK YOU SO MUCH, for capturing humanity and life, just all the memories, and keeping them alive... I think I cried almost in this entire video... It's just so sad what these people have been through. The elderly community always hits me so hard no matter where I watch it, now especially, just living through this traumatic thing in their last years is so incredibly sad...I just can't wrap my head around it, I don't even want to try and think about what they must have been through in those times... At 27:07 you looked at a picture of a lady and said: "wow she looks like she was having a lot of fun!", I literally just broke down from this...and the next picture of her just younger, or her family there. I can't imagine just leaving everything behind like that... You said when you walked out of the room: "I can't get over this, this is really sad." It is, it really is... OMG JOSH, this photage you added from the past, from the earthquake, of the elderly with their nurses..saying how scared they are and them reassuring them that it'll be ok... OMG, I seriously can't stop crying. I am crying so hard...GOD! This video is hitting so freaking hard. I think it's one of the best documentary videos that you've ever made. I'm the kind of person that when I walk in flea markets and see "old pictures/old people pictures" for sale, I just have to buy them. The thought of them just having no one else that could have kept their picture, their memory... This video was just so hard for me to watch. Again, JOSH, THANK YOU for making these kinds of videos, although they make me incredibly sad, they make me appreciate you so much. You always do these videos with so much respect and happiness, always saying that you want to document what happened before everything goes away. I really appreciate you as a person, and I really love you for who you are.
Josh keep up the great freaking work!!! I am truly impressed that you go to these places and the research you do is unbelievable!!! You have a new fan now❤❤❤❤
Another great one! The way you document and tell the history is intriguing! I’ve been watching your channel for a while and you inspire me to explore more, and to enjoy the little things!
Its awesome to see Josh still going with this channel. I used to watch him back like 5 years ago and when he did his chernobyl videos, he’s basically what got me into my love of all things abandoned. Im glad he still does a lot of the not haunted videos n stuff, his editing has always been peek. Love your videos Josh!
Been watching from almost the beginning and have never commented but I have to say man after all this time you’re still looking great and the content has only gotten better, congratulations on the success and I only hope it continues!🎉❤
Amazing video and yet so sad!it felt kinda like the old times I’ve first started watching u over 7 years ago just better filming and editing..Keep up your amazing work and rise above
At the beginning I started to cry because I lost my dearest best friends, then watching how respectful the way you were showing everything made watching so special. The Pokémon park was really cute and had few laughs, and the cars were amazing, oh and the machine 29:55 I think if I can remember correctly was used to help colon cleanse...if you know what I mean (had a few...it’s good to cleanse). Thank you for another excellent video 👍
Thanks Josh. Brilliant as always. So scary to see the real video of the actual earthquake happening, all those poor people. Keep up the wonderful work. ☺☺
I am absolutely loving this Japan series, everything about it. I am in my sixties and seeing that wonderful old people’s centre is such an eye opener. I know what happened here was very sad, but the other side to this is seeing just how well the elderly are treated in Japan. I live in the UK and the idea of living in a care home or old people’s home here literally scares me. If ours were like that I would love it. As you say, the architecture and the way they are laid out is all about providing a relaxing, peaceful environment. Thank you so much for all the work you are doing bringing this to us and seeing you all love this as well just adds to it. ❤
You forget that historically the UK has always failed in adequate and compassionate care for not only the elderly, but also the retired service men and women. NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! Take care and live long Trudi. T & L, Portsmouth, UK
27:11 No, Josh, that is the previous Empress of Japan with the Emperor. Before they abdicated in favour of their son. It is very common in places with a Sovereign (King and Queen/ Emperor and Empress) around the world to put up photos of them in your home as a sign of honour, respect and support. They are usually framed as elaborately as the homeowner can afford, in this case, this lady in the care home had a poster of them, but it still counts.
Hey Josh at 27:10 in the video that is a picture of the Emperor Akihito and his wife. Not the the lady in the nursing home. She probably was a fan of the emperor and his wife. Great video Josh.
Amazing amazing amazing. The balance you manage to get between raw and real and light-hearted humour is actually very clever. It makes your videos even more engaging. I cried during this. I laughed during this. That’s how you know it’s top tier! Mixed emotions! Well done Josh et al 🙌🏻
29:59 Suction machine. It’s to suck out mucus for someone too weak to cough it out and prevent pneumonia or lung failure. My grandma used one at home for a few weeks before she passed away from lung failure. Not fun but kept her alive longer and made her feel so much better after.
Oh wow I love the videos you post with so much passion it seems like I was walking through the nursing home with you and so sad to see how much damage an earthquake can make. Once again thank you cutie pie 🙏💓
Those blue cans were ensure drinks they're energy drinks with vitamins and minerals, they make drinks for people who cannot eat solid food or as a supplement to solid food
hi Josh and guys so sad but nice video hope you guys be safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 this is so creepy 😱😱 I look forward to watching your videos I might not say much on here all the time nice to see all of you guys hope to see more videos ❤️ you guys
@ 37:54 when Josh zoomed in to the sumo wrestler poster, I paused the video to look at the sumos and realized one of the sumos is white!! Look at the one standing in the row behind and just to the left of the one with the heart drawing. I noticed his face looked European and his cloth has a European double headed bird logo. I googled "white japanese sumo wrestler" and there is record of a guy named Pavel Bojar from the Czech Republic who competed as a sumo until he retired in 2014! Wow! I figured it was such a traditional Japanese sport that I wouldn't expect people from other cultures be allowed to compete, but that isn't the case apparently! Mind blown! Thanks for such a great episode Josh! You are such a great story teller!
I just love watching your videos ' Josh your so humble and positive!! You never disappoint always something new and and extremely exciting to watch!! I would love exploring with you 😊
I was staying in Japan with my family when this happened. I was quite young and I apparently couldn’t walk properly because the earthquake hit where we were staying. We were staying a couple hundred kilometres/miles away from the flood so we were safe from it. But seeing the clips throughout the video knowing that I was near by and that could’ve been me is just crazy!
Iv watched yours, Dans and Steves videos of this and all offer a little something different. I so hope there will be a couple more Fukashima / Japan videos to come!
Such an inspirational video, thank you for doing these documentaries. You guys do such a high quality in your videos, also fun to travel the world from your couch 😅 bit that lawn mower you saw. It is a swedish brand called Husqvarna, a robptic mower. I would say (as a Swede) at least 85% of every villa owner in Sweden has it. Fun to see it in Japan, didn't expect that, cool! Keep up the good work dude!!
I remember watching you guys exploring together as a crew with a few thousand subs. I would always comment and you would day thanks. Nice to see you doing well.
Me and my friend at this abandoned house I’ve wanted to investigate for ghost in it for YEARS and she said “have you tried to find the property owners?” I said “yes and at this point I’m about to just go, I mean, Exploring w Josh had to start somewhere & just look at him now” 😅♥️
I work in a nursing home in the US and it makes you sad to think that one day the building I work in with all these beautiful people could be gone one day 💔 beautiful video Josh
Hi josh dan and dave and steve absolutely loving japan such alot to do the locations are amazing but what happened is terrifying poor Japan but the parks are so cute everything pockamont its crazy drink machines are mad thanks for a cool video stay safe and enjoy ❤
Josh What a great video thank you I am really loving this Japan series & Josh when are you going to put videos on your Vlog channel it’s been ages now and keep up the good work Josh
Woww!Japan is so clean that even when it's abandoned,it still looks cleaner than some of the abandoned places in America. Apart from the cobwebs,it looks like it was abandoned like maybe few months ago
You unlocked a weird core memory of mine passing the Pachinko places. We had a machine in the basement of the house I grew up in. When the house got older it developed a mouse problem. During the time we were working on removal, I went downstairs one day and noticed the Pachinko balls were low. Thought it was weird, and as time went on they kept disappearing. Turns out, the mice had a weird obsession with the balls and were stealing them. For years and years we would find random hoards of balls. Like, hundreds in the bottom of a box for example. XD

What a beautiful video. The lightness in the air; the smiles in the photos felt through the screen. Thank you.
It's so amazing to see how you can document all these incredible places, even more the ones nobody can casually explore. Cool to see how well preserved some parts even are. Love from Belgium!

This video was just so hard for me to watch.
Again, JOSH, THANK YOU for making these kinds of videos, although they make me incredibly sad, they make me appreciate you so much.

Hey Josh, will have to watch this after my nap. It will be interesting to see what you have in store for us in this vid. 🤔
This is really interesting stuff, I like it when you make videos like this. Thanks for sharing.
I just love watching your videos ' Josh your so humble and positive!! You never disappoint always something new and and extremely exciting to watch!! I would love exploring with you 😊
Another amazing video to end my day with your contents is truly the best keep up the good work be safe out there much love and respect to you
I was staying in Japan with my family when this happened. I was quite young and I apparently couldn’t walk properly because the earthquake hit where we were staying. We were staying a couple hundred kilometres/miles away from the flood so we were safe from it. But seeing the clips throughout the video knowing that I was near by and that could’ve been me is just crazy!
its really sad i bet theres families out there that would love to have their mums/dads memory book with them and it just been sat there for 12 years
Iv watched yours, Dans and Steves videos of this and all offer a little something different. I so hope there will be a couple more Fukashima / Japan videos to come!
Love your Japan videos 😍 it is fascinating to see how everything is mostly still frozen in time
Such an inspirational video, thank you for doing these documentaries.
I strive to make content as good as yours. been watching you for years, you’re my biggest inspiration for my channel
I think this is the best edited video you have made!
Love it , Josh. Thanks.
I remember watching you guys exploring together as a crew with a few thousand subs. I would always comment and you would day thanks. Nice to see you doing well.
Me and my friend at this abandoned house I’ve wanted to investigate for ghost in it for YEARS and she said “have you tried to find the property owners?”
I said “yes and at this point I’m about to just go, I mean, Exploring w Josh had to start somewhere & just look at him now” 😅♥️
Fabulous and heart breaking. I remember when this happened my fiancé (born in Japan) literally had tears.
It's a Huskvarna. Robotlawnmower. In Sweden many people have them.. always nice cut gardens.. 😊
Love the reality of what their lives were like when tragedy struck. Scary. Thank you for the documentaries of information.
The awkward face to face with another dude on that Pokémon ride...Josh couldn't do it😆
I work in a nursing home in the US and it makes you sad to think that one day the building I work in with all these beautiful people could be gone one day 💔 beautiful video Josh

Woww!Japan is so clean that even when it's abandoned,it still looks cleaner than some of the abandoned places in America. Apart from the cobwebs,it looks like it was abandoned like maybe few months ago

Dude, you shelf etiquette is driving me bananas 😂 . OCD brain activated!
I must have worked out the time wrong! Thought it would be 6pm my time so this is a treat, a little early 😁 Been looking forward to this.
Thank you dear 😘 loved it
You unlocked a weird core memory of mine passing the Pachinko places.
XD
I haven’t watched your videos in yrs I’m glad i came back
Welcome back lol
I love the kids in you Josh never lose it always have fun.
