COOLEST PUPPET IN THE GAME 🥺
YES!! My body is ready for Ableton 11 content from the Legend himself!
Yeeeees!!!
Is there also a strumming option in de piano roll?
Do puppets wear muzzles ad get Bill Gates injections?
Shout out to the crew who recognised my beat and vox on the first track from the vid! 💜💜💜 this was very fun to be part of xxx
😊
i failed to you ;C what's the name of the beat? T_T
As soon as I heard the vox, I knew it was you, Rachel! You are amazing as always.
did you make an actual song with those vocals? any chance to get my hands on them for remix purposes? really love'em :)
hi Rachel, is this track out ? What's his ID pleaze ?
❤️ Loving this update. Hybrid Reverb, Spectral Resonator, MPE! So much new power for great Sound Design!
Manual pitch correction???
don't forget I'm not getting any of that since I only have the standard version :(
@@6MILLIONSProduction Can you elaborate on that?
Hey, can you please help?
How do I make he horizontal orange db meters appear, on each track?
03:26 - 03:28
@@WEHAVETHISDREAM these are not dB meters. they are cpu impact meters per track. to enable it, go to the session view by pressing tab, click the little C button on the bottom right. The caption on the bottom left should be "Show/Hide Performance Impact: Use this button to show or hide the Performance Impact section, where you can see the performance impact of each track."
This is glorious. No more using another daw just for vocal comps. I’m so happy.
Lol!
A feature that was in Logic since over 10 years, since Logic Pro 9 in 2009...
@@DenisLogicCertified Yeah.....that's why I use logic for comping and Ableton for everything else lol
@@TheBlashMusic Every feature announced in that new version of Ableton already existed in Logic for a long time ago.
The features Ableton users are requesting in the comments here, that are not in Ableton, are already in Logic, so I have the impression that Ableton users want a DAW that already exists but they don't seem to know...
@@DenisLogicCertified Nah. Ableton has a lot of features Logic doesn't have.....but seemed to lack some basic features, which are being addressed in Live 11
@@TheBlashMusic Lol! There are so much more than the basic features that are lacking appearently as I see the requesting features.

Finally upgrades to piano roll 😩
🔥🔥🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
like whats wrong with the default piano roll of ableton? like i've heard people always saying its bad or something. ive find it way more easy using abletons piano roll compared to fl. fl piano roll for me feels like it's complicated .
@@_luni_2834 FL is more complicated but that’s what’s made it better. You can do more
@@_luni_2834 nah the piano roll is better on FL, slide, ghost note, "bigger" note, randomize velocity,... if you come from FL and switch to Ableton it's like going to Microsoft Excel
@@uriels4097 that is exactly what it's like!
Now we only miss a proper dark mode skin 🙏🏼😎
YES !!!!
Idiots
Missing more than just a dark mode and the fact they want you to pay for it. Yikes😐 they were on version 10.1.6 not too long ago.
@@hunsinger horrible and not dark enough lol
Look up "Ableton Themes" there are 3rd party themes "skins" for download. I have like 100 different themes
I'm just gonna say, this should have been in 10, or 10 could have waited for these features from 11. This is the real update from 9.
Not about that. 10 was hella light on features for consumers to fork over 100s of dollars for. I stick with Studio One and Reason now and feel spoiled. Would still take live on stage tho.
@Horacio Imho, that can expose your system to security issues. I don't need more drama...Live has become not that important for my day to day music. It's awesome for performance but who's performing rn? Lol
@Horacio Logic Pro was dope!! I loved Ultrabeat. I can't live in the Apple eco system though. Admittedly, I'm difficult for technology companies to love. I just know my value 💯
Ableton Live is the best piece of software I've ever used. Just beautiful!
What I love about being a user of both Ableton and Logic is that their different workflows seem to activate different parts of my creativity and different musical ideas.
I just get home from work and jam in session view without saving the project. So theraputic.
Comping, scales and probability! So awesome! Thanks!
Thank you Ableton for Vocal Comping, finally!! And everything else looks incredible, this DAW has fully matured!
Hey, can you please help?
How do I make he horizontal orange db meters appear, on each track?
03:26 - 03:28
Wow... I'm blown away ... this update brings so many things I wish were there!
I am a user of Ableton and bitwig. in the Ableton program, I respect the developers, but I have questions 1) Improve the Piano roll, the notes are very poorly visible, you need to stretch a lot to see C, D. E., F. G, B, you will make life easier for visually impaired authors. 2) toolbar As in Bitwig, I am a disabled person myself, I write music exclusively with the mouse, since I only have one hand functioning. it will be very convenient if the following functions are always visible (delete, insert, duplicate, consolidate). you can disable the toolbar in the settings. I understand that there are not many authors with disabilities, but they still exist. no doubt I'll be waiting for an update, it's better than nothing.
that'd be great
Hey there, have you tried using a mmo gaming mouse that has multiple macros on the side? I have one and it's amazing for adding shortcuts. I feel it would help you out a lot if you only use the mouse 😊
Hi there! Thanks for the feature request! Feel free to also sign up on our Centercode Forum where you can share your suggestions with our developing team directly: bit.ly/2doYK8b Cheers!
The ironic thing is that Bitwig is made by Ex-employees of Ableton company lol
@@47dark This competition is a good thing, I love how both Bitwig and Live are now chasing, and one-upping, one another constantly now.
Both will become much better DAWs because of it.
Thank you so much Ableton for your hard work!!!! I love it!
seems more like a 10.5, but i'm stoked either way. especially for the multitrack bpm/time signature edit
yeah it's more like 10.5
Probability and 16 macros !!! Hallelujah ! Thank you Ableton!
This is the best song I've heard in a video for a music software company ever
First song is by Rachel K Collier
I love Ableton so much. It's changed my life. Much love and respect to you guys from Manchester UK.
This has to be a joke, I just bought ableton 10 suite for 600 dollars 3 months ago
Edit: I mailed them and they told me I'm not elegible for a free upgrade, this is the most heartbreaking thing that has happened to me in the last years.
That's a gg
The upgrade is usually about $150.... Ableton usually have a discount offer a some point in the year. I'm sure you'll have enough on your plate getting to grips with Live:10 so don't worry.
@@AnthonyWoodruffe it's not about to worry or not to be able to do music with Live 10, of course Live 10 is plenty enough... I feel cheated too and I bought it a bit more than a year ago. Especially this year where everyone has been struggling financially at least (I guess Ableton too, fair enough). Buying a software this expensive (I don't say it's not worth it, it's worth it) should guarantee you something like at least 2 years of free upgrades (I'd say even 3). I switched from Logic and their upgrades are free forever (although obviously I love Ableton because I switched).
Email them, they are normally pretty cool with that type of thing.
@@johnporrill6591 Well, MPE support isn't a small update by any means. It sure took a lot of work under the hood. Also, a lot of the features usually come with the .1 etc. updates. But yeah, Live 10 is already a very capable DAW of course.
I feel like this was MUCH needed. Makes so much sense now!
Not a Live user, but every update seems to be filled to the brim with new and awesome stuff. Good job! ^^
Would absolutely love to make the change to Live, and the main thing that's stopping me is the lack of custom key commands (both in terms of what can be controlled, and in terms of actually customizing the keys themselves).
I know there are 3rd party workarounds, but some good native accessibility options for the people out there with repetitive stress injuries would be really amazing :D
The second I'm able to do all my linear MIDI editing/sequencing from a keyboard/macro controller in Live, is the second I become a Live user c:
if you command K, you can set any key of your keyboard to any setting (for example I usually do R for record, M for mute etc) you can also save the settings
clyphX is your friend
It’s there - www.ableton.com/en/manual/midi-and-key-remote-control/
and the mappings are 100% tweakable
ruclips.net/video/2q2Ncb0U5Ss/видео.html
thats the point! you could use with your friends, and no one have too strange configuration
@@bennywise410 @benny wise Thank you for trying to help.
Live's current system only works with some actions. While muting, recording and toggling metronome are all nicely assignable, a surprising amount of the things I use daily in my current DAW workflow are natively unassignable in Live, or only accessible by mouse or control surface.
For instance, increasing or decreasing velocity of a note (mouse required for dragging). The midi legato button (must be clicked). Adjusting clip length seems to require the mouse in some way regardless of how it's done. Smooth scrubbing through the timeline is accessible using a control surface, but otherwise not assignable.
I also haven't found a way to re-map some of the commands that already have a key combination (opening plugin window for instance, which requires two hands or an incredibly awkward hand posture).
Being able to just go through a full list of in-depth key commands and make custom maps would make Ableton Live so much more accessible, and have the added benefit of making the transition to Live so much easier for people coming from other DAWs.
The best music composing program. Ableton you are the best and thank you for an excellent program. Schurakin

This is not Ableton live, this is Ableton Love
So many things I’ve been hoping would be included in the next update and MORE?! Ableton you never cease to amaze me!
Looking forward to 11 and adding that to my tutorials!
COMPING!!!! As a non conventional Ableton user I am VERY pleased with this addition.
I really like how Ableton is becoming more and more like a fully modular instrument. The futureof electronic music will be shaped by how these guys operate!
I control my eurorack modular with Ableton and an expert sleepers audio interface ( ES3 and ES6 in and outs ) in this configuration it's a fully modular instrument and then some. It just becomes a ridiculously powerful setup when you use it this way. Analogue heaven with full digital control.

Thank you Ableton team! Really great update, big job! Let's add the ability of smart pitch correction and Live will officially be the best of the best.
Wow, the MPE implementation looks just like I have imagined it some years ago 😍
My wishlist is 50% complete now. Keep it up, Ableton!

shoutout to ableton for being the most aesthetically pleasing DAW ever
I've used Ableton every day for a decade, but disagree with this comment lol. I hate the way it looks, but it gets the job done
Absolutely not. Ableton is good, but logic looks better. Even bitwigs looks better. This is barely subjective. hahaha.
Pre ordered. Done. Thumbs up for an Ableton Live 11 old school back in the day printed manual with new book smell! I'd happily buy it.

The editing of these videos is always so clean. It's beautiful to watch
The comping is going to change everything thank you ❤️❤️ hopefully no more having to switch to Pro Tools to record vocals
Nice tune! Luv Ableton, theres so much to explore with Ableton 11 and 12

It looks more like an update from 10.1 to 10.2
Time to learn Ableton again. A lot of new and updated stuff 👍🏻🔥
If and when ableton gets manual tuning, it will be the best DAW ever created. I have melodyne tho so im making the best of it.

Celemony integration would be a godsend
Powerful update, lots of great productivity and workflow features added. Love it!
3:12 AT LAST! It looks like they've finally improved the piano roll.
The piano roll can see other midi tracks (ghost notes) and has scales. See ruclips.net/video/5OxjJRYtlxo/видео.html
$250 just for that. Ok?
@@djdrwatson You can do ghost notes in 10 by selecting the track whose notes you want to be shown. Then hold command and click on the piano roll you want to play with and you should see the notes greyed out
Hater will always be haters. Ableton has the best piano roll and now they made it even better. This will definitely speed things up for me.

Love the new features, thank you Ableton !
Seems like yesterday that 10 came out...
I straight up started shaking as soon as COMPING came on the screen. Big big thanks!
I love Ableton. The only thing I wish they would improve is the piano roll. It’s still not competing with FL or Logic’s in my opinion. It is nice to see them adding these new features to aid more on the vocal performance side. Who knows I may leave Pro Tools and do all my production, mixing, and editing, all in Ableton one day.
disagree 100%
Hey, can you please help?
How do I make he horizontal orange db meters appear, on each track?
03:26 - 03:28
Yeah the ability to see all the different instruments notes overlaid in FL piano roll is my main ask as well.
@@WEHAVETHISDREAM Those are track CPU load meters.

The "record multiple takes into lanes" feature is gold. I use it everyday 👌
I feel like I just paid to upgrade for 10, now I have to pay again for 11. The upgrade is almost the price of Logic
BGM is really good, lot of different styles, smoothly showcases the software and tracked out really nicely
Why is this not a update, like 10.5. Definitely doesn’t seem like a whole new version. Won’t be upgrading unless they are giving a better deal out for being the short lived version that 10 was.... Yes I’m throwing a tantrum lol
Feels like they've created a bunch of new stuff just for the sake of creating new stuff. There's tons of other stuff they could focus on instead, like warping in Sampler, being able to cut up audio in Session, 32-bit VST support for all them old gems, easy glide/portamento for all devices etc.
*Its EVERYTHING we wanted and MOOORREEEE!!!!!* * THANK YOU!!*
No wonder after my 3-month free trial, Ableton gave me an extra 3 free months. They hooked me into the DAW, and it worked lol. Now I'm too invested into it to turn back
You won't regret it. I got Ableton Lite years ago and it has been my main DAW since. It's just so much fun to write/play with. Every new version has been great.
the same with me... got tired of apple but always used and loved logic. Ableton was the best I could find for windows... 3 months to test got me hooked. What a great daw

@@epigon1 :)
Holy moly. So many goodies in this new release!
Mixed feelings. Macro Variations and Comping are really cool. Glad Ableton made an update but their Preorder Update offer of $183 is close to Logic's price range. Why wouldn't I just get Logic to go along with Ableton 10 instead? More bang for buck and it already has comping. Kind of wish this was called 10.5 instead, but these are just my initial feelings- I haven't seen an overview of all the new Spitfire collaborations and the full capability of the new plugins.
Logic is exactly what I’m thinking about right now. No Ara is a no-go for a paid upgrade in my opinion.. and logic sounds in general are a million times better than everything Ableton has to offer...no matter the new packs.
And still no proper design update-or at least a usable dark mode
Logic has almost all of these features and many more. For $199

Wow this looks amazing! Lots of features that we've been requesting. Live 11 has been a few years in the making but it looks like it's been worth the wait!
This should have been a free 10.5 upgrade. Live 10 came out less than 3 years ago! Thank you for giving us comping for 160 Euros after 3 years of waiting for a feature most wanted in Live 10. Oh and all these randomizing tools for EDM producers, because that's how everyone makes music, less work more randomizing.
That said velocity randomization is useful but was mostly covered with the Velocity tool, and Spitfire libraries are always a welcome addition. Too bad I am cornered into buying because I simply need comping to save so much time.

a small mpe controller that is better than roli's would be a dream indeed. ableton could do it 🤞
holy smokes, you did it!! finally vocal comping in ableton
I find it underwhelming to be honest. Comping is cool, something many were hoping for, but I personally couldn't care less as I dont record any vocals. The new reverb looks cool and so does that bouncy notes thing. Other than this, for an entire new version of Live its really underwhelming. I love Ableton, will never go back to any other DAW, but can't understand the hype in the comment section.... for me no reason to upgrade.
yes... this feels like many of the updates they didnt deliver with live 10... I think its time to just crack it
Their pricing is insane considering what Logic offers
@@practicaltm9797 I think logic is only cheap because apple use it as a way to sell machines for people to run it on. Most other daw software is expensive compared to logic.
@@noelwalterso2 Fair enough I see most music producers using macs though.

These new features pulled the trigger on Ableton for me. Thanks yall ♥
My only gripe with this is that Ableton 10 came out not so long ago. It took like 10 years to go from 9-> 10. Seems like some of this should have been a version upgrade. The investment from 10->11 going to be more difficult
i never dreamt live 11 would drop in about 1-2 years....hack i just upgraded few months back from 9 suite to 10 suite. and now i need to upgrade again? see altogether 500 dollar for 9, 200 dollar upgrade to live 10. and now 180usd needed to get live 11. this is really starting to look ridiculous an unattractive....i might have to start looking for another less upgrade hungry daw
it really shouldnt be released as ableton live 11 at all...10 is still super new...

Been using Live since version 7, i really loved Live 9 and especially the 9.5 update but found 10 to be lacklustre and not worth it. This is definitely the successor i was hoping for and it far exceeds my imagination, well done Ableton.

Oh hell yeah. True MPE support and features. I'm sold to upgrade day one. Ding!
Ableton will you add a Dry/wet knob for all the effects and instruments
That would be nice, but I bypassed this by making a instrument rack with two chains and a dry\Wet Knob. Just safe it as a instrument rack and you can use it with any effect
Thats the the only feature i am waiting for a build in dry/wet nob for the effect rack! (The velocity propability is finally there)

Any CPU optimization?...for better handling of CPU heavy 3rd party plugins and more responsive large projects?
I Wish That Too !
Technically impossible for Ableton to improve CPU heaviness of 3rd party plugs.
Here Here!
@@janriepshoff5237 Thanks, was hoping they might improve how they spread processing across multi-cores, or something like that. Last I checked, one track was processed on one core. Not sure if possible, but anything to reduce CPU would be great
@@SolStateMusic It's in the hands of a plugin manufacturer. Threads can be started from a plugin as desired. But audio rendering typically happens all in one thread as thread synchronization is tricky especially at those low latencies and thread context switching not a cheap operation.
The comping tool and "nature instruments" got me the most excited. Great work!
I hope we get more color options for our tracks, i think some most colors are too saturated and i want it to be more customizable.
this is the best update till now❤️one suggestion plz.. include single note pan (hit hat) and glide feature in piona roll like FL Studio🙏🏻.

Wow! This update is just incredible! Ableton you are the best in the world!
Feature request that may have already been mentioned; while the scale collapse in midi clips is f@#*en awesome and really looking forward to it, it’d be so dope to have an option just to draw in a 7th, 9th, 7b5 chords etc that adapt to the scale and also allow for outside scale notes like in the 7b5 example...I know other plugins/daws can achieve this, but having it natively in Ableton would be killer.
