    Extremely concise review and especially appreciate the on-body demonstration.

    I ordered a few color-matched velcro strap keepers to roll up and fasten long hanging straps.
    Cleans up the pack look very well. I own the Scree 32-L...it is my go-to Daypack now. Also own three other Mystery Ranch backpacks...finest and most comfortable backpacks I've owned.

    Love my Scree 32 it's my goto for 1 to 3 day hikes beyond comfortable and light. I am about to begin testing the Eberlestock F7 Kite which is larger more like my Coulee 40 but heavier duty

      @@Bill_tyler I'm a minimalist hiker tarp and hammock setup kind of guy. I woild say there is no way this would suffice for a normal hiker much beyond and overnighter

    If the hole at the center of the Tri-Zip really worries you, I would recommend just finding an appropriately sized rainfly to stow in the the top of something. Then if it starts raining really hard you can just throw the rainfly over the backpack and keep everything inside dry.

    Very good review!! Just got this bag and now I feel like I know everything about it! Thank you!

    Can't decide between this or the Coulee 30, which one do you prefer? Main use will be overnighters. Also, of these two which is more suitable for attaching larger gear like packraft, sleeping pad etc? Thanks in advance, great reviews, keep 'em coming

    Thank you for doing this review, very informative and well done! I've been thinking about getting the Scree, and your "thorough" review really really helped me see all of the features. Thank you again. I subscribed to your channel!

    Where can I buy *this* exact version with the hydration bladder toggle.

    • @vaughanbranch8376
      @vaughanbranch8376 Год назад +1

      All of the current Scree 32’s have the hydration bladder toggle. Evidently there was an update a few years ago where the toggle was taken out or more likely overlooked. Just got one in today in the Lizard color and the toggle is present. To make sure you don’t get an older version probably safest to get directly from MR. Great pack!

    Can you use this pack for a ruck pack? Carry a 30LB plate and 3L water bladder?

    • @TurkeyDart
      @TurkeyDart Год назад +6

      I ended up buying this pack. Its a god damn beast! I contacted mystery ranch and these things are tested out to 85lbs. Way over the recommended load which they say 1lb per liter so 32lbs. I have went on 10-15 ten mile hikes up hills with a load out of 40lbs with zero signs of any issue

    • @TurkeyDart
      @TurkeyDart Год назад

      @@x-Musashi-x i have traveled with it. I use it for an overnight bag when i go out. Its not bad at all. You can remove the waist/hip pads. Some might find all the straps dangling a slight annoyance. But i dont think its bad. They can always be cut and re-sewn if jt was that serious
