- Don Piper wrote the first credible book about an afterlife story, 90 Minutes in Heaven. He was run over by an 18 wheeled semi truck. His body parts flew in several different directions. Paramedics declared him dead, and placed a plastic sheet over his body. Meanwhile, many people across the world were praying for Don after hearing about his accident on the news. He was dead, but a friend prayed over his body. Then something miraculous happened. As the friend began singing a hymn, Don's dead body began singing with him. Crisis workers were shocked that a dead body was singing. For 90 minutes Don Piper was clinically dead. He lives today to talk about his encounters in Heaven and the horrific pain that happened after he survived. Over 30 surgeries later, Don Piper speaks with Randy Kay about one of the most amazing stories ever told.

I met Don in 2007 at a church he spoke at. I'd just lost a little dog that I loved and when getting my book signed, I tearfully asked Don if our pets were in heaven. He grasped my shoulder to support me and said, "I didn't see any on my visit, but I think God's love is so great, why would he withhold something that meant so much to so many of his creation?" I'll never forget that and will always appreciate your loving response Don. And I'll be looking for my little Oscar when my time comes to go.

I know Jesus is real when my son was 21yrs old he was in a near fatal car accident he died 3 times he was in coma 20 days. fast forward 5 months we watched the movie Is Heaven Real and the part when Jesus picture came up; my son said he just got the chills and pointed at the T.V and said that's him he said he was there with grandma and Kassie they passed away 2 months before my son's accident. my son didn't know who Jesus was before the accident. my son tells me he never wanted to come back because he was at peace.

I had stage 3 cancer , I found out July last year. I believed for healing. Lots of people were praying for me. I went through intravenous chemo and pills the same time for months. I did not loose my hair or get sick one time. Which is a miracle in itself. When the devil would tell me it’s went in your lymph nodes I would quote scripture that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I had a song in my heart and head all the time. God will make a way when there seems to be no way and He’s the God that heals me. I had a mri and cat scan done last week. It was excellent. I have to have surgery to remove scar tissue. God is our healer. Your already healed you just need to receive it. Will be praying for your miracle.
I heard God say 6 weeks. You are healed in Jesus Name... Read the Bible consistently and whatever worship song is in your heart, hold on to it and keep singing it until a new one comes! You are healed in Jesus Name... God absolutely loves you! Just make sure you tell your testimony so others can come to the knowledge of Jesus. Amen
1:12:51 Just over 1year ago my 63 year old husband had a heart attack in our front yard before church. The ER Dr said he was dead 45 min to an hour before they were able to revive him. He was 6 mo in the hosp and now 6 mo in a nursing home, so far. He has an anoxic brain injury and exists in a comatose-like state, breathing without aid. He returns to the hospital monthly with various infections. We know God can heal him completely and have told everyone, we are believing for his full miraculous healing. As the months have gone by, I know God can heal him, and what a witness that would be!! Now, in prayer, I submit my will, to God's Will, just as Jesus prayed on the cross, "Father, Not my will, but thine be done." Please pray w me, that God will fulfill His purpose for my husband's life. We speak Faith and Hope into my husband's ear every day, but he is un-responsive, except to pain. It is not a life I would ever wish on anyone. Please pray.

I lost my brother 5 years ago from alcoholism long before he should have He died too young ! I don’t know where he’s spending eternity ! He was in a cult of the highest degree
I know for sure if he didn’t get time to ask Gods forgiveness of his sins at the end of his life ? then He’s in hell today !
That’s heartbreaking ! He was not a nice person ! He was a Cruel Cruel agnostic man and he hated me….i tried to show him nothing but love !!
I don’t know why he hated me so much ? Maybe because of my Christianity I’m so thankful to God who took both my parents home to Heaven ! So they didn’t need to witness what a life of alcoholism did to their son !! They didn’t see the awful image of what my brother looked like at the end !! after years and years of alcoholism
God spared them that !!I’m so grateful to God for doing that so so full of gratitude to Him…..because they would have been heart broken !!

This has been a very tough topic to write about because so many times I felt he deserved Hell !! I’m sorry if I shock you dear reader How could a Christian say that about your brother but then you don’t realise how much pain mentally and physically I had on a daily basis for years and years !
I’ve struggled with this but then when I’ve heard many of the NDE experience’s on Randy Kay who did go to Hell….. I cannot wish my brother to go there !!! No matter how bad he was to me !
I don’t want him to go to Hell !! I want to meet the brother I should have had….. The brother who drank alcohol to kill whatever metal torture he was in !!
And since I’ve started to think this way I feel better myself because I know Jesus would want me to forgive him…
Most of Jesus life on earth was about forgiveness so how can I call myself a Christian if I can’t forgive my only sibling !!

My heart hurts for you . If you told him about Jesus and your parents also , he may well have cried out for forgiveness in his last moments, please God he did . Many an NDE talks of this . Remember the guy who was stung by the jelly fish (its on Randy's channel) I have prayed for you to be healed of your pain . God is so good .
Thank you, Randy and Don, for another wonderful testimony. Perhaps I can ask for prayer. About a month ago, I contacted my church and asked if some would come to me for fellowship since I'm in a wheelchair and my family isn't willing to take me. No one has called. I am so lonely.

I dreamed I was in traffic in Mexico City, and it's crazy there. So in cars ahead of me I had to stop, and way up in front of me, there was a horrific wreck. I got out of my car, and walked towards the wreck, when I saw a little Volkswagen Beetle. It's was wrecked and three nuns were inside. I floated inside the car and laid hands and prayed for the injured nuns. Then just as I was waking, a male vice said, "You will know this really happened because it's 12:37.
I awakened and the digital clock by my bed read: "12:37.
There is no one in heaven that is not Holy because of Jesus going to Heaven on our behalf. Be a witness to all that are made in my immage.
This was an amazing video - one of Randy's very best. There is no one more humble and worthy as Don Piper. I met him in person in Peoria, IL when he spoke here at a church in, I believe it was 2012. Don really paid a high price for his sufferings and very special insights on heaven that God so richly gave to him. This message is full of hope and promise for anyone who is suffering and needs Jesus. One of the best quotes in this video is near the end when Don quoted someone else saying, " the only man made thing in heaven is the scars of Jesus." Jesus totally paid the price for all of us. He took our place so that we could be with him in heaven. Bless you, Randy, for sharing this special video with us. I love watching your content. This story is very dear to my heart..My Dad got his book & told me all about it. How people in heaven greet you & all these beautiful things. I think I read a specific page, but not he whole book..
Not long after that, unexpectedly we lost my dad. God is so amazing. He was preparing me before it happened. My Dad & I would have moments where would be be reminiscing about things & just be laughing til our stomachs & face hurt..but for some reason during those moments (even though I was completely present in the moment) I would take a step back & cherish, I mean really soak in & cherish those moments. Now I know why. 4 days before, I was at a funeral of my Dear friend & colleague..During her service as we were praying, I happened to open my eyes & I immediately saw her coffin..But, she wasn’t who I saw in it, I saw my dad in it. I started to lose my mind. But then thought, he’s at home safe get it together. All I wanted to do was be with him. So I went & picked him up after, and we went to get a drink from Sonic. He asked how it went & then said “well that was a dumb question.”
I said, no it wasn’t, I know what you mean.. (she had planned her own funeral.) Anyhow, I wasn’t sure if to tell him or not, but I did. At first he was taken back but then said “when it’s our time, it’s our time & nothing will change it.” We talked about death & heaven..I told him, I don’t know what I would do without you, I don’t know how I could even go on.” He told me, I would have to & all I would have to do, is ask God for his help..he said “Hita (Spanish term for my girl) you just ask God & he’ll help you.”
My Dad was an amazing man of God. So I had no doubt where he was. And this testimony’s have actually confirmed for me a thought that I had, since the day we lost him..
(He was given a choice) I didn’t do well with it. At first, I just started reading 90 minutes in heaven, then I read Crystal Mckvae’s waking up in heaven..(The day she went to heaven, was the same day my dad did, but a few years before. We lost him on 12.10.13.) Amongst some other Heaven books, but these two had a connection for me. After that, I shut down & didn’t deal with it. When I no longer could shove it away, it completely broke me. It’s been ten years now.. just this morning I was missing him so badly & it’s been a very very hard day. But within the last couple years, I have just grown this relationship with My BEST FRIEND, Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! Life is hard, and it’s impossible to do life, without God. Not just praying when we need help, or going to church Sundays or holidays..but an everyday relationship with him. Surrendering yourself & your life to him every day.
Anyhow, I have learned a lot from this channel
(It’s the only thing I watch.) & I’m very grateful for it!

She was on heart lung machine to keep her alive for 1 week .When I told her that I got prayers for her to recover , she was angry as she said she was in the most beautiful place like a garden with flowers and trees 🌲.I felt bad because she didn’t want to come back . Now I don’t fear death because we don’t die . Only our body dies but the real us , our soul and spirit become more alive on the other side. Like Don I tell this story many times so that people are made aware . We are so conditioned to believe otherwise. People should tell the truth so souls would come to Christ

In January 24 my father in law passed away and we were praying in a circle before he took his last breath and when we were praying I felt my life getting sucked out of me , so I had to let go and I fainted and I ended up in the doorway .

Thank you for this interview. I read Don Piper's book several years ago. Recently I read Imagine Heaven by John Burke. Both really good. I loved how Piper talked about all the people praying for him immediately after the accident. You never know how how God will use your prayers. I will continue to pray for his healing.

@@BlueSkys77 aww thank you! Words don’t really convey how awesome it was and it was about 20 yrs ago. My son was just born and I had post partum depression on top of a difficult abusive marriage. But anyway, I was driving in my suv w my son and all of a sudden I was hit near the steering wheel and I was like what’s going on? And immediately I was looking down at myself and realized first I’d been shot and that I was dead! Immediately I was in the Presence of God and it was amazing. Words like euphoric complete utter love joy goodness just flooded me consumed me!! It was joy unspeakable and full of glory!! No words! And Jesus was there and I knew I could stay but I said I want to but I have to raise my son!! And so whenever I did awaken, my depression had lifted and still felt for days the same “ high” as I’d experienced in That Place!!! It was total BLISS peace and joy. Words can’t express how wonderful it was to be in His Presence 🙏🙌🙌
I’ve had other dreams before and after this one. Prophetic. One as a child of His Return. Everyone was running and scared of some other worldly force in the sky and I was a little girl in dream as well as in real life and I was alone and ran into a cabin -it was in the woods. There was no where to go but under a table. And something landed outside the cabin and I knew or saw that it was a UFO round type vehicle we imagine and waited and waited and the door of the cabin opened slowly and immense bright light shone into the door and someone was walking towards me and I looked up from under the table and I saw it was Jesus !!! I awoke. I believe that dream was prophetic in that at the time we are caught up there will be fears worldwide of UFOS and such. Not that Jesus came from one! 😁 A timing thing.
It’s only when I look back on some that I see what God is saying. He also gave me a prophetic dream of my dad and his death to come-but that I knew only looking back.

I read his book, had to have been at least 15years ago, but I still remember the details of his testimony. It definitely had an impact on my life. I'm grateful that he didn't give up during the years of excruciating pain he endured, & instead persevered & wrote his book.

Wow love that prayer for healing Randy prayed for Don. God use every bit of this pain, healing, and restoration. The hope it gives and the body ministry between people it has created God is love and He hones our character to mirror His. He's so good and wise in His dealings with us. What a story this is. I don't think I could have endured all this. God alone is worthy of our worship, May He continue with Don and Randy helping many.

I was 13 years old when I read his book and I just loved it I wanted to know more!! I'll never forget it , it was the first I had read as well. Crazy thing is moved to Huntsville to go to college in 2011 I do not remember this In the book. I drove in this area all the time as an auto parts delivery driver and worked closely with the prisons. I'm really in shock wow. His book made such an impression on me idk how I never knew I was driving around the same area for years especially when I worked for whispering pines golf club in Trinity TX over that same bridge 😮
