Here's one of my fave Captain Beefheart songs, remixed by me with a bit of Frank Zappa's Mystery Roach and a little backing vocals by The Beatles thrown in for good measure!
I bought the album because the cover was interesting. Little did I know when I turned on my turntable in my room my brain would be changed forever. One Beefheart like no other. Thanks for the genius. Great video. Thank you.
I still have that first Safe as Milk Album, released, as you say, in mono! This was so good, graphics impressive; somethings never date; deserves a Billion views.
Hey, I hope that younger ones appreciate Beefheart's exploration into the world's we now occupy - especially with his forays into modern pop-jazz-hiphop-blues. It all projects upon 2020 and beyond.

How about this?! Years ago, back in the late 80s/early 90s, it dawned on me that this song might easily be an influence/inspiration for many dance-music artists of the time. This is a very well thought-out and put-together piece, conceptually, and both in audio and visual terms. Congratulations.

this is marvellous unbelievable really great fun, looking at the way he changed over the years is tragic an unbelievable he got really ill suffered an died way to young, unfortunate to get multiple sclerosis poor guy terrible way to go, but never complained
I didn't know that about the disease. Thanks for telling me. We watched Beefheart many times in many cities... I'm almost 70. A true genius, and his music is if anything more relevant today.
