Thank you Zee for clarifying the fact to either use one or the other shampoo on wash day. I will not be purchasing this product but by you defining when to use a clarifying shampoo and when to use a moisturizing shampoo and not both on your wash day is unnecessary was for me very informative and I totally understood the reasons why. I am very interested in the Patterns product line and will check to see if you have already done a break down video on that brand. I would appreciate your input on that product line if not. Either way I am glad I have not missed too many of your videos for 2024.
No shade on CECRED but if you break it down, these are SHAMPOOS, which their basic goals is to CLEAN your hair. It should not cost that amount to clean your hair. The ingredients in both shampoos are ingredients commonly used in other brands of shampoos and dont cost that much. Washing your hair once and then recommending washing your hair again is confusing and just wrong. If one has the money to spend for a shampoo, then buy CECRED shampoo, but know it is not doing anything different from a shampoo that cost $10 - $14, which is actually a lot too. I will definitely do a review of PATTERN product. I love Tracie Ellis Ross! We need to be reminded that she, as well as other celebrity brands, are not formulating these lines. They consult with cosmetic chemists to create their products.

Anyone who buys this product just wants to waste money because there is nothing ground breaking or new technology in all these things. Agreed, the formula may be wowing but that's just it.

I am a black woman with 4C hair, with no agenda, other than helping others to consider what is actually doing the work of these hair products we use for our "nappy hair" and avoid being product junkies. I was ashamed of my "nappy" hair at one time, but now I accept it, love it and take care of it. Thanks for inspiring me to come up the catch phrase. "I'm happy with my nappy". 😊 If you buy either CECRED shampoo, let me know how it works. At their suggestion use both shampoos. Hydrating shampoo is $30 and the Clarifying shampoo is $38. By the way you would be shampooing your hair two times, with the first time you use the clarifying shampoo cleaning your hair and the second time is "cleaning" your already clean hair.
