I ❤ all your tutorials! This is absolutely great if you're making a minimal amount of jump rings. I bought some cutters that are "supposed" to cut flat on both sides but are difficult to use to cut multiples because they tilt when cutting. I also bought jump ring pliers to use with my saw and that was a waste of money. It was easier to cut them with my saw at my bench pin. Thanks for all the help you give everyone. Cheers!🙂
most wire cutters make a flat cut on one side and a "pinched" cut on the other. The pliers I am using in this video are Swanstrom brand, before these I was using Xuron brand and they work the same way
I use a chasing hammer and an iron block(to do it on). I just place the jump ring down and hammer it with the flat side of the chasing hammer. I will try to make video soon.
✨Oxana✨ Thank you a million times over…. For sharing these absolutely wonderful idea’s! You are so kind! Greatly appreciated!
A great tip. I'll bet lots of folks do it the other way. Have fun! 😷⚒

@@OxanaCrafts is double flush better
❤thanks
Wow thanks
Thank you!! I brought a jump ring tool, but I don’t know What size gauge is best.
OMG thank you so much
Thank you so much for this video. I cannot find anything about how to harden jump rings by hammering them. Can you suggest a site or a way to do this?

Thank you, I needed to know this!!
You are so welcome!
I make a lot at one time
Their always flat, if there cut right.
Thank you
I bought a bunch of jump rings in all different colors went to make a chain and their all like the first one you said not to do 🤦🏽♀️
Useful news, t y.
My pleasure!
What guage and firmness do you usually use for jump rings?
I usually use 18 gauge half hard.
I like 18 gauge, but I don't have half hard so that's why I hammer it
@@OxanaCrafts thank you so much! I could seriously hug you right now. ❤
I love how detailed and perfectly explained your videos are.
Thank you!
How do i know if i should get soft, full hard or half hard? I want to make small 3mm 22g jump rings.
Half hard typically works well for jump rings, but I have not tried full hard
@@OxanaCrafts thank you for replying I appreciate it
hello! i have a question what does hammering do? how does it make it stronger?
yes it makes the metal harder
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
What size copper wire ?
You can do it with all different sizes, for this one I used 20 gauge
What are your pliers called??
They are Swanstrom brand
There is a quicker way
if you have a jewelers saw that would be a quick way to make multiple jump rings
@@OxanaCrafts there's a quicker way than that
but you are keeping it a secret? @@ArtisanUntamed
