- * This is it! The start of Angelina Jordan's rise to superstardom, at least that is what I think. I believe Republic Records will make Million Miles (Official Music Video) their top priority to promote Angelina Jordan. I have reacted to Angelina Jordan's song Million Miles three times now. Yes! Angelina has done a lyric video, a "Live in Studio" video and now she has released Million Miles Official Music Video. How amazing isn't that? Another video to do a reaction to. It will be so interesting to see how this Official Music Video version of Angelina Jordan's Million Miles affects her career and popularity. The sky is the limit.

It seems that Angelina did the storyboard for the video. Here's what she said in a recent "People Magazine" interview:
"I love being creative, and I actually sketched the scenes of the music video, which is really cool. The scenes are about memories I had, and going back to flashbacks. I think that the simplicity of the music video makes it really beautiful because it lets the music talk instead." - Angelina Jordan.

With regard to what you said about Angelina’s input to the video. It feels very On brand for Angelina. It’s like something she would do even if she didn’t. It doesn’t feel too polished, it’s not sexy, it just tells the story of the song.

I have the same feeling about this video, Pontus! It has Angelina and family written all over it! Everything about it is deeply personal and I'm happy RR went with the vision Angelina had for it. The photos of her two grand fathers was so touching!
Also agree it has a homemade vibe to I wouldn't be surprise if grandma Mery had something to do with the direction ;)

P.S.: when Angelina is sitting under the tree with her notebook and the wind flips the pages, the last page is the actual written lyrics of the song with some notations made by Angelina 😉💕

When I first heard this I listened to it over over over and Over again. The video is so simple but so powerful!!

Well, so far I approve of republic’s handling of this song.
Well, producing three videos. Can’t complain much about that. The question is when will they start the PR machine? It could be their waiting for the new album to drop. I can’t wait 🤗

Having three videos probably dilutes the impact, as far as RUclips is concerned. The first video , I feel, speaks more to those of us that are familiar with her book, when the second video came out, it's something that will get more to people who perhaps don't know the story, or perhaps don't even know who Angelina is. The third video more to the people who know the story, and the family. I for one like all three, for different reasons, but I imagine that the second one will tend to have the most views, with the third video, a little behind. One thing is for sure, my little black notebook, I will keep forever, now to be used for notes about AJ, I will always when I close it, like in the video, I will remember David Kitson's book, with AJ slowly climbing the ladder, and at the end with the "Princess" - maybe David bought his book in the Tiger store where I bought mine.
Just a final mention, lyric video - 500,000 views by end of Feb, Official music video (due to slowing view rate) 1 million views , middle to end of March, by then Live studio version probably 1.5 million views, unless of course more publicity brings in new viewers - The YT official channel is slowly moving up to 500K subscribers - I would like to see 1 million subscribers, so that AJ can have the Gold award displayed in her corner....

I just want to point out my favourite part of this video. Where you see her grandpa's shoes and her bare feet in the same shot.

I think I know why the studio version affected you more. Angelina is with her eyes close and you can see her during the entire song and you can feel her pain a lot more than on this video.

I think this is her video she was prepared to release with her album of self-written songs on her own label. She then signed with Republic Records and now that album will be released under their label. They re-taped the cut in the studio with the new studio video. So now there are three videos with "Million Miles." "Million Miles" is an early single release from the Album. This original video is amazing! Keep the tissues handy! Angelina put it together herself. She and her Granma did the artwork on the originally issued version. I just hope the original video with artwork is not forgotten, it is important as well.

@krisztián You're right - I goofed up big time when publishing it the first time. The blocking of the video messed it up for me. So this is a republish as stated in the discription.
I’m glad to see you were finally able to get this up without it getting blocked! You know, while I understand her reasons for wanting a homemade feel and I remember that when I did my own reaction I was grateful that it was far from the style of, say, an Ariana Grande video, I feel they could have benefited from the professional skills of someone like Per Heimly who directed the “I Put a Spell on You” video.There are ways that you can keep that feel of a homemade video but also have it feel polished in a good way.. I won’t say any more because I am putting together an analysis of all 4 (!) versions, but yes, for me it also wasn’t as affecting as the live in studio version. Anyway, good reaction!

Finally Pontus, I am happy to see this incredible reaction of yours, thanks much ❤️😂 Every time I listen this song so emotional, I'm moved again, for me all 3 of her versions of this song are, each in a different way, an expression of the wonderful emotional world and of Angelina and the fantastic family that embraces and supports her. This isn't certainly a video by a big record company, but it's great for that, there is so much of her in this simple video, so full of memories and metaphors ... similar from her lyric version, but this develop better the same contents, close together to her heart and filled, with deep feeling. It's simply fascinating the way she, in an extremely simple way, gives voice to her soul. She is a very mature girl, but luckily she remains a 15 year old girl 🤗 ❤️

this is the record label original, BUT, its not the best version. if you havent heard it or seen it yet, check out this song "Million Miles" (live in studio), in black and white. its just Angelina at her best, standing in front of a microphone with a piano and a cello playing. a lot of people like the original, but i dont like that plinky plunky music. it does such a disservice to the song.

@@Pontus-Osterlin umm (im so sorry because my English is so bad) I'm a fan of Şebnem because she's a rock queen. She has 3.9 octave voice. She is really famous in my country. And she had a whistle sound when she was young. As far as I know she is also a composer, song writer and guitarist.
