I turn DNF off not to make my racing easier but because right now the AI racers don’t DNF even in terrible crashes.... so fuck it
yeah, plus sometimes you can hit the wall with the front end juuust barely and it'll dnf you. until the dnf setting gets more updates and works better i will not be using it.

Technically you haven't clinched the top ten yet because if you get eliminated in the round of 8 you could be passed by guys that got eliminated in the round of 12 or 16
Making it to the round of 8 doesn't guarantee a top 10 in points, and not making it wouldn't have prevented you from doing so. Everyone not in the Championship 4 competes for 5th-16th. So don't get too relaxed when racing or you will miss out on points you need
you need to pay more attention to the last few years of points standings.
it used to be how you explained it, but for example, if blaney gets knocked out this round, even if he wins every race for the rest of the year, the best he will be able to place in the driver standings is 13th
@@iamcodywilliams that's wrong. Off the top of my head an example is Chase Elliott last year made the round of 8 and finished 10th in points. After you're eliminated your points reset to 2000+Playoff Points+Points earned during playoffs

if you own all three teams you get 100% of the pay out each race itll be tight in the beginning thats why in my carreer i run one season for someone else then build my own team and in cup I run 2 seasons for someone else then build my own while collecting 100% pay out from my lower teams for another season like i own my dirt, and truck rides and am currently running a custom car for gibs in xfinity and replaced johnson in the 48 next season ill habe my own xfinity, truck, and dirt and probably drive for hendrick again then build a cup team

I don't know if you run custom setups on this game, but you should. That might help you in Cup. In kinda doing the same as you but I may do another season in the lower series other than dirt. That way I can use that money in Cup.

Were you running a very thin sway bar. Seemed the body would sway too much in some turns and would lose the back end so easily
