im so in love with their dynamic and as a lesbian i am so happy we are getting represtnted in a story thats not just about them being queer and they have actual chemistry i also love the fact the rep is so natrual i just love arcane and the way that we seen caitlyn and vi connect even though they are on oppsing sides it gives me hope that queer women wont be seen as just queer women but instead have a actual chance to be in astory that is not just about them being queer or used as a thing of fethization or as a side charter for just repesentaion also i love this
Yeah its cause they're not token gays. The writers treat them like characters first and don't make their whole personality gay. I love it so much. This is the representation we deserve

It's been hinted at by their lore and in-game that they seem to be more than crime fighting partners. The citizens, their fellow enforcers and even the criminals they lock up have been suspicious of their relationship. It's definitely possible for them to be dating considering that they've done LGBT couples before in Diana and Leona, as well as Varus' vessels (they're not in Arcane, and Varus' vessels are a bit difficult to explain if you're not that familiar). It's not confirmed that they are, but they've been hinting towards it so many times.

I'm not really sure the ship is sailing guys. It's on Netflix, streaming in most countries, and China really isn't into LGBT ships. They even altered the cupcake scene in their dub so that it can sound hetero. There's a good chance that Netflix plays it safe, leaving the ship there, subtle flirting and staring, and we're going to get heartbroken. They just wanted to make their relationship a slow burn, and they knew there was going to be a S2, so yayyyyy we're going to get canon Violyn next season!!!
