      There is nothing extra special about celebrities.... The word celebrity was created...to sell more tickets... Unknown person may have the same talent, but because nobody knows him/her, they can not attract many people to sell the tickets for movie or concert.... Therefore the celebrities are so much praised by media and commercials therefore its so exagerated to know their private life, and hobbies.....But there may be no difference.. But today it seems people enjoy more videos of unknown artists than old celebrities. because unknown aetists are also charming but its new face, new person with new ideas. Though of course some celebrities may have great personality, and wisdom and dont take themselves as a celebrity.

    • @ethanstump
      @ethanstump 5 месяцев назад

      Letting go in an age of power is simultaneously the most freeing thing, yet it's precisely that freedom that scares people. People want an adventure, they want a mystery and a sense of importance to let them know that the world isn't an indifferent place. But they know deep down. Personally, it's once we accept that our deaths are inevitable, that nothing we do as individuals or even as a species will affect the final outcome, that we can get over ourselves and get out of our way. We're here to eat great food, have great sex, live our lives and that's it. No heaven and hell, no grand adventure, no aliens or demons, no improvement or "progress", just us in nature as animals, doing animal things. Once you search for "something bigger", your already missing the meaning and enjoyment in the small.

They took out all the big stars & then started making offers on catalogues. MJ's sister LaToya that demanded her brother was killed? Thats why she said that & there's a lot of people in the music industry that believed it. Thats why everyone started selling their catalogues in the decade after MJ's death. Alexander Leonard hence the real chauvinism! Women get rode hard for dating younger men. Men are expected to cheat and also sleep with younger women. It’s not only normalized but embraced as some rite of passage for middle aged men. The article he’s referring to is likely an attempt to bring things back into balance. You never hear anything about Bruce Willis being with younger women for example. However when Demi Moore did it it was gross! Then her then husband cheats on him with several younger women, they get a divorce, and he remarried someone in his age range. She’s now marked as untouchable. Bruce hasn’t had those problems and won’t have those problems . Just one example.

    • @user-gh2eu9me2q
      @user-gh2eu9me2q 3 года назад +1

      Alexander Leonard another bullshit excuse! Men wouldn’t use preventative measures to ensure that their female partners don’t get pregnant if that’s the case. The vast majority of men are having sex for enjoyment not procreation. Procreation just happens to be a byproduct of their enjoyment. For those that are in committed relationships where they want to procreate that’s a different story. Men aren’t inquiring about a woman’s fertility as a means of determining if they should have sex with her. All persons fertility declines with age- men’s sperm looses their integrity and begins to deteriorate over time. However, even those who are infertile are still viable sex partners for men. The double standard is a result of sexism and chauvinism. Men are given passes for dating young and women are viewed as lewd or disgusting. Men are viewed as being sexually attractive with age, even though they’re no longer physically attractive because of the same double standard. From a procreation/biological standpoint they are no longer a top pick(see low testosterone).

    Rob Lowe is one of the very few good people in Hollywood. I used to work in the "industry" as they call it. It is rare to come across a legit good person in that town. Lowe is one of them. I can count on one hand the amount of good people in Hollywood... it is very rare. Wahlberg and Chris Pratt are also good ones. The sad thing is that a lot of the good ones end up dying early. I think part of it is because they are so conflicted about being in such a sleazy industry that they turn to drugs. For example, Brad Renfro. He was a very genuine good person with a good heart. I always felt really bad for him because you could tell he just wanted normal friends and a normal life but was already too engrossed into the scene. About a month before he died he asked me and my friends if we wanted to hang out. I know it was because we were not part of that crowd and he just wanted to be around normal people for a change.

    I get it! I understand what Rob was saying about partying in the 80’s. As a bar and restaurant manager in Jack London Square, Oakland, CA, I partied almost every night. We had our share of famous people coming in for a drink, e.g. Hell’s Angels, Richard Pryor, Dan Hegarty (Gentle Ben), Ted Lang (Love Boat), etc... It was always hoping since we had phenomenal food, a huge banquet area that opened up on Friday and Saturday nights, live music 7 nights a week and the white stuff was everywhere. One of our cocktail waitresses was a dealer. One of the guys I worked with, a very good friend of mine, would leave lines underneath he telephone Rolodex.
    Once we closed the bar down and finished our clean up, we’d go over to someone’s home or apartment to party till the sun came up! Miss those days. I was really young and they were hellish fun!!!
