I remember playing a show with his old band Bodies Awake in corpus christi. me and a friend mentioned his voice and he said "people used to tell me my voice was really high so I intentionally made my voice lower and it kinda just stuck that way after a while".
Really cool chill guy, love the band. I like the sounds of the program, but there should be a free trial version that limits users but still gives them a very basic version of the program.
I just lost a lot of respect for this guitarist. Writing music that the consumer wants to hear is pitiful. Music should honestly be a selfish creation. You should write what you want to hear because the music will be genuine. If you just write for your consumer base you're just writing with profits in mind. I guarantee you this band is going to keep getting softer with every release. They'll be mainstream in no time.
Kevin Cruz I don't entirely agree. He's more so saying (if you want to pay your bills with your music) you need to write within the confines of what is widely accepted and defines a song. We're talking pretty basic structuring/song writing techniques. Makes sense to me.
Kevin Cruz And if they do write softer and softer, I see no problem with it. Look at Bring Me The Horizon. They wrote songs about vile topics back in the day, and now they're writing pop banger, mainly because they grew as musicians and started writing that because they enjoyed it. And if that doesn't tickle your heavy, there will always be other bands to substitute with.
Kevin Cruz well you're wrong. They keep getting better AND Heavier. Their latest album Deathgrip is a mix of deathcore and metalcore. Pretty heavy stuff, and their best album since Creation/Destruction. And he was talking about making music the listener wants to hear because he was telling you how to be a successful band from a marketing stand point.
I watched this solely for Bob's voice.
Eddie's Guitars yeah same. Too had the audio quality sucks
Please record a guided meditation Bob, would be great

Bob and FFAK is awesome.
BOB IS DAD
At least he is honest! Performing for a Market
I’m sayinnn
You might need a few more jump cuts, there were a few seconds of un-interrupted footage at several places in the video.
It was annoying

"unleash your creativity"...him: yeah i just write like other bands that people want to hear so i can sell it.
He's basically saying if people like the way he wrote the older material, he's gonna stick to the method he writes with minor changes.
