- I know this is a very basic task and there are already videos of this online but even the most basic maintenance can be intimidating if it's your first time. I hope you liked this video and found it helpful! Ride safe!
Songs: Close Call - Tarpey, Nostalgia 64 - Panda Eyes
You can tell he takes no short cuts. I bet he treats this bike like his baby. Thats awesome man. Hope your still enjoying it! Thanks for the Tutorial
Quick tip.. you can always position the wrench/bar etc on the nut so that when applying force you are pushing DOWN. 2:05 he has the wrench at like 1:30/2 on the clock, he could rotate it to like 9 on a clock face that way when he applies force he would be pushing the bike DOWN in to the stand, rather than potentially lifting it up off the stand. Just a tip.
Less or no music for tutorials like this.
Dope video bro! I’m new to riding and loved the video!
The music is too loud I can barely hear you what you’re saying!😂
No need to loosen the axle block adjusters. Apart from that excellent video.
Good video with some helpful comments 👍🏾
No need to hammer it, I can do it by hand. Just lift up on the wheel as you push it through, then pull it on the other side.
I done it mate but how the f i put it back now!!!!
Less music
just a minor comment: "never" pull a socket or wrench or whatever "up"
you said you'd lift the bike off the stand, well, thats because you started pulling "up"... if you start pressing down, you have more force and everything stays more stable...
that's how us mechanics do it where ever possible
Why are you watching this if you're a mechanic lol
cause I was searching for quicker ways to change my wheels.
endurance style or newer bike solutions...
I searched "motor quick wheel change" and just started clicking vids...
I have a 1998 Suzuki Srad on the track and was looking for ways to alter things so it takes less time and effort to change from dry to wet wheels.
Newer bikes tend to have faster, easier ways to do it...
Simple example is a high mounted rear caliper that stays on its place instead of a low mounted caliper that falls down...
I finally found a decent endurance pitstop from a stock team.
They did it the way I already thought it was doable and I adapted my front paddockstand and fender...
Now front wheel change from 7 to about 4 min...
Rear wheel also went way easier, but not timed yet...
Also, a good mechanic is interested in new or other ways to do things.
Why else would would you take courses or does your employer make you to follow them..
That's also one of the reasons I watch thousands of mech and tech vids on youtube.
Even if it's something I already seen or know.
Knowledge is repetition and standing open for others ways...
But I understand it seems a bit funny for a mechanic to watch a basic vid like this one.
As pointed out by others, it's a decent DIY vid, but there are points to improve he doesnt know about.
Like pressing the lever down vs pulling it up...
Turn "loose" all bolts before jacking it up...
(that way you can turn your wheel at the front to easier remove caliper bolts)
noone noticed he says 33mm socket the first time then mumbles 32 mm socket...which is it lol!!!?????
lillnemo1 Good tips, thanks 👍🏾
@@matthewhanzlick6785 it's actually a 32mm socket, he doesn't know what he's talkin'
Bro FYI. Your front tire seemed to be mounted in reverse (dangerous in rainy days)
Sport bike tires have sipes that go a different direction it’s just how they all are ( most especially the Q3s)
🙌🏾 thank you
awesome thanks!!
dude just pull the axle out, push the wheel forward and the chain will come off. No need to touch the adjusters.
Music too loud
The video is freezing up
Why do a lot of RUclipsrs feel the need to not only add ridiculously bad music to their instructional videos, but add it at such an annoying volume that it interferes with being able to hear what they are saying. I’ve never posted a video to YT but I’ll bet there’s a button to click it a box to check that says “Add Music to your video” so it seems like a good idea when posting a new video. It’s not. Is it supposed to make the video more enjoyable? It doesn’t. The music on this video is so annoying that I’m outta here.
like.
Dude this video is horrible there’s not enough e girl twitch streamer music in the background
