THANK YOU not only for the gift of Norm and NYW, but for not monetizing the 'ef' out of these episodes. After rediscovering NYW and watching several episodes here, I cannot believe how timeless these are. They are just as fun, interesting and relevant as they were when I watch these all those years ago on PBS.

Did anyone else get a good tingly feeling inside when that music started at the beginning? 🤤
Thank you Norm and team for posting these videos, brings me back to my childhood and watching these every single weekend morning!

Yes, yes I do as well. I hope they know how important they are to some of us. Watching these brings my daily stress down for sure. Thank you Norm

Absolutely, I love the show and it brings back very fond memories of when i was just starting woodworking. Decades later I still learn from Norm Abrams.

I have built the roller stand, and added a 'lid' which allows me to use it as an assembly table. I have since added a Lazy Susan to make it a finishing table for smaller projects.

Again, I can't express how much I love seeing these again. Myself and several other family members are in the trades, including cabinet & furniture makers. This is my childhood.

I remember sitting on my dads lap in the recliner watching Norm and begging my dad for the last sip of his coffee as we watched this show. It inspired me to pursue woodworking and build with my father for the last 30 years.

Years ago, the highlight of my Sunday afternoons was to setup the VCR and watch NYWS. It is great to see Norm just as relevant today as he was many years ago. At that time he was the greatest resource for woodworking, especially in video media. There are many sharp guys today on RUclips and it is great to see that Norm still supplement great content and run along with them. Keep reproducing Norm's videos.

I love the New Yankee Workshop and I am pretty fascinated by all the applications of AI. Overall the upscaling is quite nice. The saw blade at 3:42 caught my attention though as it morphs from a rip blade to a high tooth count cut off blade!

It's still not perfect but keeps getting better. It has a hard time with Norm's face because of his glasses, but the tools and wood look fantastic.

I have always really enjoyed the New Yankee Workshop programmes, but I get the feeling Norm would use a table saw to sharpen his pencil if he could! As a hobby woodworker I don’t have access to the range of machinery shown here, but it’s still interesting to watch. Maybe it’s time for a video showing how to make the pencil sharpening jig?!

Yes, faces are still a problem with AI. Especially when he walks out of the workshop at the beginning. He's moving fast towards the camera so there's nothing for the AI to lock onto. Bugs us as well :) I think we got a good balance with the latest one though. Unfortunately it took 18 hours to render :( Let us know what you think:
