The Qudelix 5k at twice the price, has the most full house control software you can ever want, all digital EQ you can wish for, Bluetooth (as well as normal USB-C function), a database of other headphones and IEM EQs, a built in clip, a 2.5mm balanced & 3.5mm SE, a mic and even ambient pass through on that mic. The problem with built in clip is that at some point in the life of the dongle, they break off, this is why it's better that they come as a case as we've seen on some of Fii0
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience, very interesting to hear about that database of other headphones and IEM and curious to hear how it affects the sound of the gear its been hooked up on. Hope to be able to try it someday
I have it now listening to it on my iems. I like it, it has more bass, plenty of volume and sound is very pleasing and detailed. I have dongles like Dunu 500dt and dad amp iii hip dac 3 which are 2-4 times more expensive with balanced, some cheaper ones like whizzer da1 dac, and you aren't really loosing anything. Sounds like a game changer. But I got opened one from amazon with usbc charging cable missing. It's the first time I receive opened product from amazon. And proper English language annunciations is a pleasant touch. And sounds louder and better and more pleasant more musical than MacBook Air M3 15 inch internal jack which sounds very good.
@jgonzaga23 oh that's weird that response ws meant for another question. As for the car connection unfortunately it didn't work with mine so unfortunately can't comment much there.
Convenience. I use a btr7 with my tv a lot. It’s powerful enough for all of my iems and good enough for my headphones (fiio ft3 350ohm, fiio jt1, Hifiman edition xs). I mainly use tws for that though….status between 3ANC sounds dope.
Quite a nice thorough review, thanks! For the price and functionality it's quite good.

It’s a sweet device, but I prefer the btr7. I’ve got both though.

like PC --> bluetooth dongle --> usbc inear
My exact question. Because I would rather use the Mic on my Moondrop Mays when on my PC.
can u mute the mic from the dongle?
I would like to know the answer to this too
Yee i do only has 4,4 IEMs, so hiby Will never come on my list untill it hapens.
Woah don’t tell Reddit about loudness not equaling properly powering!!
Haha it'll be the same results as saying cables make a difference in sound. Some will agree, some will not.
why do you even want a bluetooth DAC when it will be not as good as using a real DAC thats physically connected to the source?
