I honestly love the VW SP2. SInce I was a kid, I always dreamed of having a SP2 because they are extremely cool. Nowadays, they are really expensive here in Brazil. If I had the money, I would 100% buy one of these things. Back in the day, VW had this weird obsession with the VW Beetle chassis so almost every air cooled of that era is based on the Beetle chassis. If you go down the rabbit hole, you will find things like the SP2, Beetle, Brasilia, Variant, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, Kombi and a bunch of other cars that used the same engine or even chassis. I would love to see more VW's of this era being added in Forza. FH4 already has the Type 3 and the Karmann Ghia so I wouldn't be mad seeing they recycling these cars.

I always thought they got rid of cool paint colors because of costs, as it turns out it's mostly because it's a pain to match colors on metal and plastic and they tend to fade differently over the life of the car.

Actually, VW Brasilia is another car, using basically the same structure, but the Brasilia is more of a 2 doors wagon. SP-2 body was made of fibreglass
With the bodykit and lip etc it kinda looks like a Porsche 911 Carrera rs 2.7 also the rear lights kinda look like them but a bit different. Just a amazing design overall.
As a mexican, i have a fun fact that some people don't know ( maybe nick will not see this but W if he does ): This car apeared in a mexican cartoon called " el chavo del 8 " it was yellow and the owner is " señor barriga " or mr bigger for the english ppl
also, btw, this car is rare as all hell around herein brazil, and even if you manage to find one get ready to pay the price of a small yacht for it, however, the pumas are pretty common and pretty cheap also, id say its the best car to have for the price if you wanna work on it and drive it such a shame the haydays of the cool brazilian cars are long gone, these days we only get small econoboxes made to be discarted. except the fiat fastback on the abarth trim, that one is half cool.
