It really depends on how well I can get my nucleator nozzle adjusted. I do find though that the fan gun does make nicer snow. I think a big reason is because of the "hang time" in which the snow is in the air longer before it touches the ground. The fan gun is also able to be angled upward at a steep pitch, unlike the stick gun. Plans are in the works for a new fan gun which hopefully will be much for profitable in the quality of the snow.
