Man, Tama has the BEST track record of long time artists who are really dedicated to the growth and advancement of their overall scope and vision as musicians and composers who happen to play drums and percussion as their primary. And you have to really LOVE a company and what you do within that company to log 50 years of employment. I've heard many times over that Tama takes pride in being a family-owned company that can compete and win across the globe, and I love that the owner named the company after his wife. That's a very bold, telling, and western-type maneuver for a company formed and based in Japan.

I absolutely love that he still uses giant toms, which sound far better than short stack and he uses proper cymbal height, NOT low and close.
