Top notch video! I found that my sd3g sits slightly canted to the left in my lower though, ive heard if you reverse the trigger pin this resolves it, but then the hammer springs dont have proper grooves to sit in and pins may walk out.
Very good and nice pace of doing things. Though I followed the manual and didn't remove the safety, which worked out just fine. The factory trigger required a proper alignment to remove but the Geissele trigger went in smooth.
ive been struggling to install this trigger and i found its easier if you align the spring, pull the hammer all the way back so it locks in as shows in 11:49 then just keep your finger there so it doesnt fling out. align the hole and put the pin in. you dont need to keep the heavy tension while trying to align the hole an get the pin through.
I apologize I'm late in replying. I had lost my password. This is well under 4 lbs so it may be too light for you. I used it for a rifle I built for 3-gun.
Brilliantly done. Thanks for the video, appreciate if. I purchased this exact trigger but debating on installing it in my v11. 2.25lbs. is crazy light. Just found your channel so how do you like this SD-3G?
I'm sorry I'm replying so late. I had forgotten my password and I was just able to recover my account. To answer your question, and perhaps now is a better time, anyway since I have a season of 3-gun under my belt, I love it. It takes some getting used to especially for precision long shots but you will figure it out. For long shots or precision on small targets I drag my finger on the trigger guard until I touch it, get on target and the fire normal. As far as engagement of multiple targets, up close, it's awesome. Very fast. THIS is the trigger for that!
@Captainpaulbtyhtr the disconnector won't release the hammer when fully charged. Someone said sand the disconnector a little..haven't tried it yet. When I fire a round the disconnector locks the hammer in place
Steelers!!!! Watching from Pittsburgh while waiting for mine. Thanks for the video.
Super Bowl 2024 for the Steelers!
@@customkydexohio8342so much for that one 🤦🏻♂️
@@AVH8TOR It's a new season and this will be the one for the Steelers!
Thankyou brother. Just installed mine in about 10 - 15 minutes. Appreciate you very much [] [] []

Execellent video. Very informative. Thank you for creating this video!
*beautiful trigger...definitely going to be gettign this for my AR unless i hear of anything better but everyone is raving about this bad boy! lol*
You will love it. I have yet to hear someone say they didn't like it.
The pin alignment tool from Geissele is a must if you’re doing a few of these
It's certainly nice to have and comes in handy. I've put in triggers without it but since I purchased one, I'm glad I did.

Sounds like you got the trigger installed. Now there's only one thing to do, go try it out!
did it come with pins?
Got it in. Thanks
really great video, helped a lot.
Installed this trigger with the heavier gold spring on a Sig Spear LT 7.62x39 and have been experience light prime strikes
Doesn’t Geissele make a specific trigger for the LT?
I have a 4.5 pound trigger I want a 4 pound would this be a good option? What do u use this rifle for

Ive got this trigger in a .300 blk out set up for 50 yard headshots with supersonic ammo...incase the shit does hit the fan !
does the safety need to be removed to install this trigger?
Yes
No
No
Doing it right now. Mcx safety does not need to be removed but you need to uninstall grip and release tension on safety so you can freely turn it
For the most part yes. I know some people have said no but I've had to take it out.
Is the gold spring actually 4.5 lbs? Im wondering since the lighter spring is breaking at 2.5 lbs instead of 3.5lbs
I don't have an answer for that because I did not use the gold spring.
I’m with the atf! I got my eye on that trigger
It's so fast you won't be able to see it but you're welcome to try!

What’s that grip???
Ergo grip
Any issues with hammer follow ?
Sorry, just saw your comment. I have not had any issues. It works perfect.
Have to reinstall mine...its doing some weird unsafe stuff
Hammer spring might be inverted
@Captainpaulbtyhtr the disconnector won't release the hammer when fully charged. Someone said sand the disconnector a little..haven't tried it yet. When I fire a round the disconnector locks the hammer in place
@ what lower ? Pin holes where they should be ?
Which spring is the heavier one?
The gold spring is the heavier one and produces a higher pull weight. The black spring has a lighter pull weight.
👍
Thanks for the video. One thing though: you’re from Ohio and you’re wearing a Stealers sweatshirt?? Boooo
I mean it could be worse. He could be a browns fan 🤣🤣
Get to the point my guy
Stop being impatient. The video is quite helpful.
