It should. A LOT of the backgrounds were taken directly from the various TMNT NES games. The Bonus stage looks to be from the NES Tournament Fighters, and many other stages were from the TMNT3 Manhattan Project. The Super Shredder Sprite came from that game too.
i agree not to mention tmnt tournament fighters sprites looks ALOT like the tmnt 1990 anyway i always thought the same thing that should be a smart idea
I was thinking how much better this was than the movie. There seemed to be a plot, there was action, I didn't have to listen to shitty dialogue, and the near absence of Megan Fox was a delight
same here. It is one of the few things Michael Bay did right instead of butchering it like he did with Transformers (and Age of Extinction is a perfect example of how bad the franchise was butchered).
My only complaint with the movie was I thought it focused a little to much on April. Took my dad to see it, we both enjoyed it. The guys playing the turtles nailed it. Hopefully with the sequel they'll work on the problem areas and give a great movie.
Great movie! The only little problem I had was with Splinter not being a pet of or Hamato Yoshi himself because it makes it seem that if he wouldn't have found the ninjitsu book in the sewers they never would have become ninjas. Other than that this movie was good!
The original story of the Splinter never made sense. How does a ordinary pet rat learn ninjutsu? It always made more sense that Splinter once was human who already knew ninjutsu, and then was mutated into the humanoid rat man he became.
***** ...I kinda already said that splinter was the pet rat of Hamato Yoshi in the original movie and Yoshi himself in the cartoon, which I preferred tho because it seemed cooler IMO that Splinter was in fact Hamato Yoshi and didn't have to witness The Shredder murdering his master.
"The turtles and April saved the day!" That was the problem with the movie. I went to watch the Turtles. Not Megan Fox in EVERY. DAMN. SCENE. Go away Megan! This movie should have been called "April O'Neil featuring TMNT"
I love the 8 bit Cinema series the music and sounds are straight off the NES sound chip but the scrolling color palette and graphics have the 16-bit look and feel to it.
This is the first "8-Bit Cinema" that I found a little "meh" because the games that were actually in 8-(and 16-) bit were actually already really good. "Turtles in Time" (which, I know, was in 16-bit) for Super Nintendo was awesome and is still one of my favorite games to this day. The original Ninja Turtles game on Nintendo was awesome too, in my opinion. That said, you guys do AWESOME work with these, and it was still incredible. Great job as always. =)
That, what i call a good TMNT video game gameplay. WHY DOESN'T OFFICIAL ULTRAGAMES VERSION FOR NES & MS DOS WITH OUT OF SHADOWS DUOLOGY & ORIGINAL MOVIE LOOKS LIKE THAT?!
Hey remember that movie where a young person goes to learn the truth about their father. Their search leads them to a co-worker who talks about an old experiment they did that involved experiments with animals. They discover the truth as the guy wants to unleash a chemical gas into NYC via an antenna on top of a building and the only way is to destroy the antenna? What was the movie? Oh yeah it was Amazing Spider-Man....no wait Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...hm
The movie was half good. Megan was just very unwell when making it. Also she was in it too much even though she did something very good for Aprils character made her the hero for once I think that was justice to the character
This makes me realise that the movie was just like a Gameboy-game of days long past...actually just how its supposed to be. But why was the movie so bad, then?
Absolutely adore this!
Love the idea of Elevator bonus level!
the ''MC Mikey'' bit was one of the funniest parts of the film.
This reminded me of playing TMNT on NES and Sega... Damn nostalgia. I think I'm gonna cry ;(
My thoughts exactly. We were focused on the NES port of the original TMNT arcade game to fine point a version.
David Dutton And you did a great job!
It should. A LOT of the backgrounds were taken directly from the various TMNT NES games. The Bonus stage looks to be from the NES Tournament Fighters, and many other stages were from the TMNT3 Manhattan Project. The Super Shredder Sprite came from that game too.
Bears&Cookies
.
Took me a while to realize this was the Michael Bay version
Micheal J. Caboose I am you, and you are me?
now you absolutely HAVE to do the 1990's version! (use the tmnt tournament fighters sprites)
+David Martin They used the 2003 GBA version, but other sprites would be fun. Maybe for the second movie.
i agree not to mention tmnt tournament fighters sprites looks ALOT like the tmnt 1990 anyway i always thought the same thing that should be a smart idea
No way the movie could be this good.
This was better than the new movie! Well done!
It's crazy how this 3 minute video focuses more on the turtles than a 2 hour movie
i
I was thinking how much better this was than the movie. There seemed to be a plot, there was action, I didn't have to listen to shitty dialogue, and the near absence of Megan Fox was a delight
when the musical elivator part came up, i almost choked on mt dew lol. funny as hell and unexpected with how good you did with it. very good job
you know I really liked this movie
same here. It is one of the few things Michael Bay did right instead of butchering it like he did with Transformers (and Age of Extinction is a perfect example of how bad the franchise was butchered).

Jynx hopefully, the sequel will confirm the rumors of Bebop and Rocksteady being in the sequel.
I just wish that this movie had focused less on April O'Neil and more on the Turtles. Or...given us an actual shredder in the movie.
figment1988 And Krang, don't forget about him. Seriously...we need Krang.
I love that the guy that composes the music uses a MPC ..!
So dope ..!
Next week we're going to do a behind the scenes studio episode. Henry will be doing a lot of live 8Bit MPC action!
David Dutton
Awesome , can't wait ..!
That's some really good stuff, particularly since I think TMNT had its own 8-bit games back in the day. Or at least 16-bit maybe.
Great movie! The only little problem I had was with Splinter not being a pet of or Hamato Yoshi himself because it makes it seem that if he wouldn't have found the ninjitsu book in the sewers they never would have become ninjas. Other than that this movie was good!

***** so in fact we agree lol
***** Because it is believed that Rats are somewhat smart? I don't know. I've seen weirder shit in comics.
1:32 shredder:feel Like a super mario brother.
That was so much better than the actual movie, nicely done
"The turtles and April saved the day!" That was the problem with the movie. I went to watch the Turtles. Not Megan Fox in EVERY. DAMN. SCENE. Go away Megan! This movie should have been called "April O'Neil featuring TMNT"
They said that because she kicked him of the skyscraper
NaiseemProductions which is so dumb! Who deafeted Shredder? The Turtles? Nope!
Hunter Murray
Thank you, people who realize this movie fucking sucked.
+Dat Italyboy At least the Shredder did not kill himself by making a pier fall on him.
I remember my cousin having this game way back when.
Never would let me play it though, lol.
I LOVE THE 8Bit beat box here!
Funny how this is more entertaining than the actual movie.
"Follow The Beat" Bonus Round... bravo! *slowly clapping*
CineFix if you're reading this comment, then please do the 90's turtles movie. PLEASE!!
The 8 bit cinema of the 90's turtles
Kwalkee Im surprised that they didn't do that first.
@@moviemadness7486 im OFFENDED they didn;t do it tbh
Excellent, especially the bonus rounds.
I love the 8 bit Cinema series the music and sounds are straight off the NES sound chip but the scrolling color palette and graphics have the 16-bit look and feel to it.
How's about the classic Turtle movies?
I really love the fact that you used some stages from the tmnt games and that the shredder is the ultra shredder from tmnt 3 :)
Make one of the first two movies 1990 and 1991
That was amazing... It brought back memories of the good ole gaming days... Like snes and saga
Better than the actual movie
Wonderful job on this video!
COWABUNGA!!!!
D ŕrr%u nm lb clearly fl Gm any not of of it in monotheistic
70
Yy|yy e uwu3uj a
8-bit guardians of the galaxy, that would make so much sense
1:25 THIS IS SPARTAAAAAN
Makes me nostalgic for the old games.
you should do one like this but for the 80's movies
Damn i wish they wouldve made games from these two movies
This is the first "8-Bit Cinema" that I found a little "meh" because the games that were actually in 8-(and 16-) bit were actually already really good. "Turtles in Time" (which, I know, was in 16-bit) for Super Nintendo was awesome and is still one of my favorite games to this day. The original Ninja Turtles game on Nintendo was awesome too, in my opinion.
That said, you guys do AWESOME work with these, and it was still incredible.
Great job as always.
=)
Good quick summary of the movie no major plot or reasoning shown or exposed but still gets the message across good job.
Cool XD. Much better than the original movie!
My son and I watch this on a daily. Thank you David Dutton and Henry Dutton you guys are awesome!!!!
Love your 8-bit Cinema Team! I want more video like this one! GJ and GL
I like how the sprites are the same size and move the same as the turtles from the GBA first TMNT game, with just modifications of the design
This is 10x better than the movie itself. Cinefix Good. Movie Bad.
Better and with more turtles than the actual movie
I love teenage mutant ninja turtle
Not only did this make me miss the classic games, But I did a better job of telling the new movies story than the new movie did lol
"Follow the Beat" nice gag
I actually like this more than the movie. Props
Nice video! "Follow the beat" part was awesome! It's my favorite scene from the movie. :D
NOOOO!!!! I WAS HOPING IT WAS THE ORIGINAL NOT THE BAY ONE!!!
Elevator scene was epic
Du pur génie ! Et il doit y avoir un travail de fou derrière !!! Super !!!
Better than what we got in theatres
This looks 100 times better than any other turtles game that's come out in the past ten years
There is a game like this I play it whenever I go to my cousins house. It's awesome. Better than 3D games.
Single Handedly you guys have created something far superior to the actual movie.
This remind me of my childhood.
TURTLE POWER!!!!!
Nostalgie )))
This needs to be gami-fied!
Better then the movie
Miss April looking Good in 8-Bit ! ;-)
Far better then the real one, this i would have payed to watch.
Hey, the subway background comes from the NES game "A Boy And His Blob"!!
Could you do a Toy Story 8-bit video.
Wow I really be exited if they made a game based off the Tmnt Michael bay movie
That, what i call a good TMNT video game gameplay. WHY DOESN'T OFFICIAL ULTRAGAMES VERSION FOR NES & MS DOS WITH OUT OF SHADOWS DUOLOGY & ORIGINAL MOVIE LOOKS LIKE THAT?!
Cowabunga ! Awesome work dude !
This was perfect
I must say, this was amazing, but still not as good as the video where the cat plays "Chopsticks" with the chopsticks! :D
This reminds me of the game I play at my cousins house. It's in 8 bit as well. But there was no Hashi
Wow, that was awesome! I love the toys, and this was a great summary of the film.
that what i call a good TMNT game gameplay
And you get an a plus for featuring an elevator level!
2:09 woow
Some elements from TMNT 2 The Arcade Game. But from the Matrix 8 bit there is some environment from TMNT 2 as well! ❤️
lol.
What a coincidence. Just finished watching it.
FANTASTIC JOOOOOOOOB!!!!!!!!!! LOVEEEEE IT!!!!
Yeah, you should have gone with the 1990 movie instead.
This is totally epic! Awesome job on it! :D
I was hoping for the O.G. from 1990, but this is better than 2014
Its Awesome bro..seriously Epic! Great job
SO better than the actual movie...
Pretty good... needs more near impossible dam stage.
...This is amazing
This is better than the actual movie
This is about 900 billion times better than that disaster of a TMNT movie.
Why do I get the feeling this is way better than the actual movie? It could just be me...
epic thank you for your work sir
Better than the whole movie.
I feel like I don't need to see the movie now, thanks.
How was this better than the ACTUAL movie?
Compared to the NES Ninja Turtles this is a masterpiece. Much better visuals/sounds/minigames the works.
Incredible!! Is better than the movie!!!
i wish you did the first movie... :)
2:08 Best part
This is amazing, i enjoyed every second of watching it. :)
The movie was half good. Megan was just very unwell when making it. Also she was in it too much even though she did something very good for Aprils character made her the hero for once I think that was justice to the character
If only they fought shredder in the night time while there's thunder, lighting raining too.. would of seem more epic.
This makes me realise that the movie was just like a Gameboy-game of days long past...actually just how its supposed to be.
But why was the movie so bad, then?
still better than the actual Michael Bay ninja turtles movie
the turtles were in this more than the actual movie #justsaying
