Couldn’t agree more Roger! So impressed with how consistent everything Wilson is. I gave the 3 wood to my friend who is a pro on minor tours today to hit in his sim. He was massively impressed too! Wilson are spot on at the moment! The new ball is good too! I’ve been testing it on the course before filming my studio review! 👍🏼
Another insightful club test for us average golfers, Luke. Got to admire your consistency with the Dynapower. Will be very interested to see if it makes it into your ‘fourteen’ this season.👍🏻
Hi Steve! It’s definitely been put in the bag to see how it goes over a few rounds! I think if it stays will be more to do with my ability and confidence on the course vs the club itself! But it’s definitely the first time I’ve wanted to game a 3 wood for about 2 years! Let’s see what happens! Thanks again for watching! 👍🏼
Let's see now: You love the looks of it, hit it consistently well, and it's a steal of a deal. Where I come from, we'd call that a "no brainer". If you don't put that in your bag, you'll always wonder about it. IMHO, you should pull the trigger and game it. Have a great weekend Luke!
Hi Petro! Absolutely! It’s definitely going to be given a chance for a few rounds where I’ve got the space in the bag to carry it! It’s definitely the first 3 wood I’ve tested in a long time that I REALLY want to game - so like you say a no brainer not to try it! Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
Very nice Luke! I took a 3 wood out the bag several years ago as I was finding I no longer had the speed to launch it properly. I use a 5 wood and have been pleased with it. My 3 wood was really old (10+ years old) so maybe I need to try a modern 3 wood, like the Dynapower. Looks like a tough decision as to whether or not it should go in your bag. I use 12-15 yards as the distance difference between one club and the next. If that's the distance difference between your clubs, you might find the 3 wood doesn't quite gap correctly???
Hi Gary! Thanks for watching! We are so so similar! The 3 wood came out my bag for exactly the same reasons! To your point, I don’t think the 3 wood would gap perfectly in terms of Carry Distance but I’ve got such a big gap between 5 wood and Driver that even if it fills it a bit and helps with those 1-2 shots I feel I need it then it might be worth giving a go. Based on most recent testing: 5 Wood is 187 carry / 207 total Driver is 207 carry / 232 total So I get really stuck with that 20 yard carry and 25 yard total gap on a couple of shots at my home course! If I had 14 clubs already I wouldn’t change but I am tempted to put it into play for a few social rounds to see what happens! 👍🏼
I’ve heard so many good things about TM fairway woods over the last few years Pete so absolutely no surprises to hear you also say they are awesome! Wilson offer a 5 wood and 7 wood in the Dynapower! 👍🏼
Light shaft for a 3 wood, which is the trend nowadays, but the distance numbers and consistency are good, so it looks like a solid offer from Wilson. The face height suggests it may be easier to hit from the tee than off the fairway from where the shallower profiles are more forgiving.
Hi Radam! Thanks for watching another video! You're right about the profile, my shallower profile Ping's do inspire a lot of confidence off the fairway but the Wilson off the tee really does appeal! So I totally agree! Yeah the shaft they sent me was the lightest option and I think it allowed me to make it work for me!
@@weekendtourprosthe Ping fw woods look almost intimidating to use from the tee but must be excellent off the fairway ! Thanks for another very interesting video; it's great to see the comparison with your own club, and you verdicts.
i am trying to decide on a fairway wood either the PXG Black Ops / PXG GEN 6 / Taylormade Qi10 Max / Wilson Dynapower which would you recommend ? I am 59 years old 90-94 mph swing speed and a 7 handicap gotta order a 4 wood and a 7 wood ASAP I look forward to your opinion cheers from Canada
Hi GolfAddict! Sadly I can’t get my hands on PXG at the moment, so it’s really hard for me to comment on those clubs other than I’ve heard really good things about this years PXG clubs! I’ve also not tested the TM QI10 Max yet but based on my testing of the driver and irons in the QI10 range and my previous knowledge of the TM fairway woods in recent years is be surprised if they aren’t awesome too. The Wilson will no doubt be the best value option, but the only drawback (not sure if the PXG or TM offer this) is that the Wilson’s aren’t adjustable so you’d have no option to easily adjust them down the line! Sorry that doesn’t help too much but I’d hate to give advice on things I haven’t tested! Best of luck with your decision and please let us know what you go with and how you find them when they arrive! 👍🏼
@@weekendtourpros i ordered 2 clubs the Cleveland HYWOOD 3+ and the Qi10 Max 7 wood can't wait to try them if i like the 7 wood i will get the matching 3 wood cheers
Hi David! Lovely to hear from someone in Troon! Sadly I’ve not visited for golf yet! Great to hear you’re enjoying the Wilson clubs in fairways and hybrids. The hybrids are the only Wilson clubs I’ve not tested yet, would appreciate your views for when I do get my hands on them! Thanks for watching and all the best! 👍🏼
Thanks John! I think it was just a good day in the bay! I’ve been testing it at the range a bit and I do like it enough to try it on the course a few times and see how we get on! 👍🏼
I have a Dynapower titanium driver and D9 forged irons, feel and consistency are fantastic

Looks like a good club for you, Luke! Very impressed with your consistent smash factor! 💪🙂
Thanks Torbjørn! I’m definitely pleasantly surprised by it and keen to see how it performs on the course under ‘pressure’ 🤣👍🏼

(P.S - the long term answer for me might be to keep one club and move to a 4 wood)
Just picked up a DynaPwr 7W today 😊
Hi UberHoss! Adding a 7 wood to my back was a game changer! Hope you like the Wilson! Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
I'd certainly consider the 5 wood 👌 I use TM SIM max and that's awesome for me
