I think you used the wrong heatgun.
If you used the Waifu edition heatgun, it would have fixed the colour difference of the stickers.

Those stickers go over the led light bar, not on the inside of the case lol. I'm sure you guys know that but it was kinda funny to see him purposely do it wrong.

fun fact about a lot of those "cooling" products is that they block the airflow or even worse directing airflow against the exhaust.
A simple USB desk fan might be a better idea that you can at least insure to point at the proper hole.

They do, always have been, because the fans are not reversed which will fix 99% of these coolers, so when the fans spin on these coolers they are actually pushing the heat back into the ps5
While I wouldn't have gone with gold, that is a decent looking design for a ps5 shell.
Agreed, the extra cooling vents in them probably make a difference unlike the addon fans that probably make it worse.

I feel like this is the start of a series "Pimp my Tech" or something. You should definitely do something similar to your gaming monitor and peripherals, maybe even bling up Ana's phone 😂and ultimately build the most nausea inducing rgb pc of all times.

I'll be honest, the gold shell with the stock black spine and interior would have looked pretty cool
A year ago even having a PS5 was the biggest flex, now we go into having a " special PS5" :) Only thing I would be interested is watercooling it to lower the fan noise.
I like how most people want to get rid of the scratchy piano black in the middle but Dawid installs two golden mirrors on the sides that will magnet everything :)

What's funny is that most of the time those "coolers" actually make it run hotter and add the benefit of shady power delivery and have been known to cause fires.

I think the RGB looks OK under the vent and likely better than it would with the white cover.
The gold is a bit much but another colour might be nice. Black maybe.

I actually kinda like the gold, it's got kind of a tacky 70s science fiction vibe. But mixed with everything else, no.
In the listing for the RGB stickers there also was the word "Aufkleber" which is German for sticker.

I found this channel a few weeks ago after I upgraded my PC (after.. which is why I have a gamemax PSU ffs). This is EXACTLY the kind of pointless bullshit I love to watch, and honestly, the channel has been a joy to work my way through. Also, helping me take my own sarcasm to unheard of depths. The side panels and the stand actually look cool. The vents on the side panel might actually help as well, also the rgb around the fan would have been nicer if it wasnt a set pattern. To bad there couldnt be an option to make your own pattern , maybe by having a usb to hook to pc to change it, or just hook the stand and the rgbs to pc to change them. Of course that i am sure would be too much work. and cost an extra $10 lol
the fans do not help cooling sony designed the ps5 to run without external fans and unless there are overheating issues u shouldnt touch any of the cooling and if there are u should contact sony
@@dead_meme0136 I wasn't referring to the cooling part of the stand I thought it just looked nice, not sure which way the blow anyway, I know my ps4 cooling stand I rewired it to pull air on one fan and blow in on the other one, it actually ran a lot cooler. Personally I don't care for the design of the PS5. Or course I have kinda lost interest in them ,but a friend always gets me to mod theirs so I'm always watching for new things.
well that would would be worth benching just to see what happens on its own lol. Might be the only thing worthwhile from it (other than maybe the waifu stickers if you do it right)

Not gonna lie, those side panels look pretty sweet!! The rest of it is surely garbage. Maybe the controller dock, but the extra fans will likely cause more harm than good. I had bought something similar when i bought my PS3. They did nothing except make it noisey.
Gold plates do have certain charm. As for coolers, you should have done some tests, preferably while PS5 is stored in some cabinet like many people do .

That folded decal absolutely infuriates me... I've had guitar gig bags that had plastic strips around the sides to help the case keep shape when empty that were folded to fit in a smaller shipping box... Let's permanently crease things instead of using a proper size box/envelope

Pretty sure I've seen a cheap PC case that kinda looks like the gold panels on this but the vents that - along with the forehead curvature makes it look like a helmet - aren't functional.

3:00 generally yes small fans are loud, but there are expeptions. I have a couple 60mm noctua fans in the back of my meshlicious case, and they are very quiet and move a good amount of air.
The side panels look surprisingly decent. I am considering buying some for myself, not in gold though.

Wow I love the look of those covers and the lighting that whole setup is 🔥 IMO
The rainbow "LED" sticker was installed wrong, there is a left and right which is labeled L and R, they go over the clear diffuser, when powered on the white light will have a rainbow colour effect instead of white. The images they show are not wrong, looks better when no lights in the room.
The other sticker wasnt ruined btw, if it was vinyl, applying heat to it would make it regain its previous from or mold to the surface of the PS5/Controllers

Ipega actually makes great products, I have one of their extendable controllers for phones and it's rather nice, even has PS3 and USB support alongside bluetooth

When dealing with stickers going on curved places, you should use a heat gun for it, so it will stretch a little. You need some practice for it though. This is only true if they are 2d or 3d vinyls, with normal ones it's no good either. Good video, keep it up :)

Those "light strips" are stickers that go on top of the light strip like the dbrand ones.
I remember having a chrome plated Xbox 360 controller but the only problem was that the chrome blocked the wireless signal so the controller didn't work correctly anymore. But it did look cool though.
Sticker and centrifugal cooler was fun but too loud, but how about other cases? Maybe silver/mirror one? Anyway great vid as always Dawid, thanks :)
Ipega is one of the better discount brands. I have a controller they made that is fine. A solid 7/10, and I've had it for a while without it getting worn out. It is a bit more expensive than other cheap brands but go any cheaper and the risk of getting something that falls apart in your hands goes up quite a bit.
The analog sticks on their controller are not that good, but other than that they hold up well

I actually have the controller charger that goes on top and I really like it. It can be tricky getting to sit in the charger and it doesn’t charge as fast as a cable, but it saves me room.

ipega is actually a decent brand in my part of the world anyway. they specialize in making bluetooth controllers for android/ios and they're surprisingly decent.
those led vinyl stickers also came with my dark plates from dbrand and u was right the first time lol they go on the light strips of the system not the side panels
The decals go over the white LED panels on the console, they are semi translucent so that the light shines through.
The gold sides and the bottom feet thing and the RGB on the inside fan looked okay, probably should have stopped there. I like some waifu as much as the next guy, but making it look professional is not easy sometimes even with a heat gun. But great video as always Dawid, I do enjoy your Frankenstein creations courtesy of Ali Express.

0:50 Ípega is actually a great company for cheap mobile game controllers. I have their 4025 model and, other than the slightly mushy Home button, it's pretty nice.

Wait so... Would the "centrifugal" cooler even work ? I could be wrong but I honestly thought that the ps5 exhausted hot air through the back of the console ? So was the fan exhausting or just trying to ram the hot air back in ? haha! Love these wild upgrades... PLEASE do a video of actually decent ps5 upgrades and salvage the majestic white beast from it's gilded demise.

Truly a beast of a console. I'm almost certain a seal with herpes would sound a bit distressed and not at all like an array of small plastic fans.
I don't even own a game system, but Dawid is just a cool dude so I enjoy his videos.
I don't know what they're doing over there in China but they're doing the same thing with hearing aids. Literal 5 dollar headphones with microphone for speakers and rubber adjustments for your ear canals clearly manufactured for something completely different and a manual that doesn't match any of the parts included. 😂
Definitely buying in bulk and combining them into "new" products.
Funny thing is, I live near London and a lot of the guys I work with refer to the PS5 as a "P5", so when you were repeating P5 P5 it sounded unsettlingly normal lmao

I like the RGB modules for the fans, and the top mounted controller stand. They're good ideas. Light strip decals are OK too. The rest of it is garbage.
Light decals do go o n top of led on the PS5. I got DBRAND decals and that is how the instructions told me to install them.
