I'll say is more to that when it comes to Alex and Max obviously. Alex powers are capable of making people not wanting to use their powers make them go to sleep or even forced to pay attention to her she did and the end of the bar scene. Max can manipulate and control time but there's consequences when using them. She can go in the past change the past and future.

For those that don't know, there's a comic that serves as a sequel to LiS 1. Max's abilities are OP. She can tear open reality and travel between universes.
The comics aren't Canon. She MIGHT still be given those powers like they could avoid letting her have them, because then it would be too much power if she can just go between realities and be too much even for the game itself. In game Lore she's most likely never going past stopping time and rewind it, unless they actually chose to let her do the same she does in the comics. For now those abilities aren't Canon and she can only rewind or stop time.

I really wanted them to clear their names, especially considering the whole thing started with racism and escalated because of it (The racist guy at the gas station basically incriminating them falsely, making it looks like a crime spree). Even the "good" endings in the game weren't particularly great for them and I couldn't stop thinking how different things would've turned out if Max happened to be there.

Yall in the comments don't seem to understand how OP max is. Max doesn't have visions as far as I know. All those scenes of the storm were memories from the future. That quite literally means that Max went back in time right before a whole ass building fell on her. Now it doesnt look like it was intentional, so it's either Max is so extremely fast at rewinding that she doesmt instantly get crushed to death, or her rewimding powers damn near active wherever shes about to get croaked. And this is Max with 4 days of expireience with her powers, imagine what she could do with the amouth of time the other two had. Within this short time she was able to rewind time, freeze time, jump back in time, technically jump forward in time too but I'm not counting that as a seperate power, all while using her powers stagically enough to get people to give her the information she wanted.
She gets even far more OP in the official comics. There's literally not even a debate when you factor in ALL of the lore and not just the games. Max is insane. They're lucky she's as sweet as she is.

That would also imply max is immortal and in a sense...she is being whenever she jumps into her younger self, she does not further break the world to a point where it's unlivable and she can't continue jumping back. When I picture a vs, I imagine the two foes face to face like a Mortal Kombat or something and then let them go at each other, no rules. Physcially, Daniel is going to shredd Max every time. The kid manipulates all matter around him. Max is not winning that fight. However, if Max had supreme control over her powers, she could teleport him into a volcano, in front of a bullet, freeze him in time then stab him..a host of other ways. I agree Max is theoretically the strongest character we have seen in the LIS world. She can fight you in 50 other worlds and time lines and still win.
it is. but i guess it makes sense. time is like a tower and doesn’t know max exists, her changing everything breaks the universe and interrupts the tower. max also broke fate. daniel on the other hand is messing with matter, which would disrupt space time but not in the same way since space time doesn’t exactly have a “fate”. he’s probably messing with the other side of the universe though in some way but it probably doesn’t lead to serious consequences. he also didn’t change fate after it already happened, he just consistently kept avoiding certain situations before they happened. i think that’s why most endings involved them being separated, because it was what the universe had planned for them but since Daniel used his given power, he was able to change the future without having to go back in time and disrupt it, or in other words disrupt the natural flow of time. meanwhile alex doesn’t really change space time at all, she’s just very intuitive and picks up other people’s energy while being grounded in her own so she can transfer it. anyway that’s my theory.

Sean and Daniels story is a year and a half in time. Max's story is literally a week. Daniel definitely beating Alex but Max is whooping him. This is especially established in the comics.

Im not sure why, but something about showing these three characters, particularly with this song makes the tragedy surrounding these characters all the more intense. Along with the particular clips of the characters you’ve combined, especially for max and daniel. I keep playing this on repeat, even though its making me feel sad. Something about it just pulls you in. there is simply this bittersweet quality that comes with it that feels so comforting yet so tragic. Its like gazing at the stars on a moonless night.

Max is THE protagonist. Time always freezes for her, whether a conscious or subconscious decision, right before any life threatening events occurs, and that’s only in her first week of powers. Daniel is raw power, but Max’ hax is too OD. Not to mention that we haven’t even seen the extent to what her mastery over her powers could really be.

The official comics dived into this. Max became strong enough power wise with time manipulation to alter singular objects instead of the entire world around her. (An example of this is at one point on the comics she was having a snowball fight against chloe and manipulated the snowballs time to send it directly flying back at her without affecting anything but the snowball itself. Meaning Chloe or anything didn't rewind. Just the snowball. The snowball flew back at Chloe. It hit her with enough force to knock her down. People claim it isn't canon but imo it is, especially since the literal writer of LiS1 wrote it before other people took over the games direction (aka LiS2)
LIS1 and LIS2 are so damn good, I wanna hug Max and Daniel, they both have been through so much tragedy and trauma. Seeing these clips of Daniel is breaking me, he looks like he’s in so much pain
It’s highly dependent on who makes the first move between Max and Daniel. Daniel can very well make her unable to move thus she cannot activate her ability and then snap her neck via telekinesis , however if Max is able to activate it and stop time before he has a chance to stop her. Now for Alex she more like an equalizer, if she teams up with Max she could read Daniel’s mind and coordinate with her to take him down. If Alex teams up with Daniel she could read Max’s mind and have Daniel stop her before she gets a chance to do anything. With all this said, imo I think Daniel has the edge considering he can hold you in place via telekinesis and doesn’t require his hands to move things unless it’s heavy.
Daniel isn't able to activate his powers as fast as Max is. Like when he tried to stop the guy at the farm, but got shot before he could do anything. Max's powers either go off immediately when she is in/senses danger like when Chloe gets shot, and she's able to rewind even in the restraint when Jefferson tied her up and David gets shot, and basically every other time the game tells you "She's about to get hurt, don't pick this", or she doesn't need to fully move her hands to use it. Realistically, she doesn't have offensive power, but she could rewind or slow/freeze for enough time to think of something, and this is just with current Max. Imagine what would happen if she had the amount of time the other two had to master her power. Remember, Daniel's strong, but it's implied that gravity and weight does still affect his telekinesis, hence why it was hard for him to move that rock. Now, obviously, it wouldn't take much effort for him to move Max by the end of the game, but there would still be a very miniscule delay for Max to rewind.

if you consider the comics, Max's power evolves to the point where she can control the time for individual objects. Basically that apple scene from doctor strange. Imagine if she could do that to people. Turn them super old or back into babies.
I think Max gets defense. Yeah, Daniel has the power to defend himself, but anything that isnt a killing blow or knocking her unconscious, Max can rewind it. If Daniel gets shot, he can fight back and defend himself from getting shot again, but if Max gets shot she can rewind and prepare, not getting shot to begin with.

My Power Ranking: Best - Max’s time manipulation (virtually untouchable to any attack she can react to) Middle - Daniel’s force powers or “airbending” or whatever, it’s not really clear *what* it is (great physical power, capable of stopping bullets lifting people, and can even snap their necks) Worst - Alex’s empath abilities (has absolutely NO physical capability, and aside from causing a Persona 5 “change of heart” emotionally breakdown, would be of no use in a fight)
That boy was stopping Bullets flipping cars and crushing gigantic metal gates I don't think in any scenario Max comes close, if Daniel is aware of her powers yeah she is pretty much done, because Daniel's power are overall way more destructive and can also defend him, as of Powers of Max sure she can stop and rewind time, but if Daniel can create that force field stopping bullets he can surely create a smaller force field from Max even touching him, and if he gets the first shot, then it's GG, he can literally crush her to a pulp rather instantaneously, I can't imagine how she would win.

Michel Koch specifically said after LIS1, Max and Chloe’s story was over and he wanted to turn it into an anthology series and focus on new characters entirely. so you’re the one facing fanfics when consuming the comics lol, the comics are literally just fanservice because people didn’t want Max and Chloe to be over
+that’s also why LIS2 was so different, Michel never wanted to make any prequels or sequels with the same characters, or even similar stories. it was supposed to be an anthology series but he took risks and didn’t do much fan service with LIS2, he ended up getting kicked out of his own game franchise and DeckNine bought the rights to LIS and made BTS and TC, which are good games but also basically fanfics since they were made by a completely different company who was a fan of the original LIS1 and LIS2

Even though Daniel's telekinesis gives him greater destructive power, Max's time manipulation gives her way more ways to win over anyone here. As for Alex Chen, I don't know what she's supposed to do here. All she has his her empathy powers, and that's all. She lacks the power, attack, defense, or hax to stand a chance here.
Alex is really not as weak as people say she is. Being able to take away someone's negative emotions entirely is one hell of a gift. Being able to feel EXACTLY what someone else feels is even better. Just think about all the criminals that act on their emotions. She can just take it away, and with it their drive
If I was making the upcoming game, the person Max would be trying to save would be an older Daniel Diaz, as she would find out about his powers, and after the two connect, Max tries everything in her power to keep the only other person who might understand what she goes through alive.

I'll say is more to that when it comes to Alex and Max obviously. Alex powers are capable of making people not wanting to use their powers make them go to sleep or even forced to pay attention to her she did and the end of the bar scene. Max can manipulate and control time but there's consequences when using them. She can go in the past change the past and future.

For those that don't know, there's a comic that serves as a sequel to LiS 1. Max's abilities are OP. She can tear open reality and travel between universes.
The comics aren't Canon.
She MIGHT still be given those powers like they could avoid letting her have them, because then it would be too much power if she can just go between realities and be too much even for the game itself.
In game Lore she's most likely never going past stopping time and rewind it, unless they actually chose to let her do the same she does in the comics.
For now those abilities aren't Canon and she can only rewind or stop time.

SSean and Daniel’s story breaks my heart, it’s globally relatable . What I love about them
I really wanted them to clear their names, especially considering the whole thing started with racism and escalated because of it (The racist guy at the gas station basically incriminating them falsely, making it looks like a crime spree). Even the "good" endings in the game weren't particularly great for them and I couldn't stop thinking how different things would've turned out if Max happened to be there.

Yall in the comments don't seem to understand how OP max is. Max doesn't have visions as far as I know. All those scenes of the storm were memories from the future. That quite literally means that Max went back in time right before a whole ass building fell on her. Now it doesnt look like it was intentional, so it's either Max is so extremely fast at rewinding that she doesmt instantly get crushed to death, or her rewimding powers damn near active wherever shes about to get croaked. And this is Max with 4 days of expireience with her powers, imagine what she could do with the amouth of time the other two had. Within this short time she was able to rewind time, freeze time, jump back in time, technically jump forward in time too but I'm not counting that as a seperate power, all while using her powers stagically enough to get people to give her the information she wanted.
She gets even far more OP in the official comics. There's literally not even a debate when you factor in ALL of the lore and not just the games. Max is insane. They're lucky she's as sweet as she is.

That sounds like plot armor or the only medium the devs could illustrate her jumping through time without it being confusing.
That would also imply max is immortal and in a sense...she is being whenever she jumps into her younger self, she does not further break the world to a point where it's unlivable and she can't continue jumping back.

it is. but i guess it makes sense. time is like a tower and doesn’t know max exists, her changing everything breaks the universe and interrupts the tower. max also broke fate. daniel on the other hand is messing with matter, which would disrupt space time but not in the same way since space time doesn’t exactly have a “fate”. he’s probably messing with the other side of the universe though in some way but it probably doesn’t lead to serious consequences. he also didn’t change fate after it already happened, he just consistently kept avoiding certain situations before they happened. i think that’s why most endings involved them being separated, because it was what the universe had planned for them but since Daniel used his given power, he was able to change the future without having to go back in time and disrupt it, or in other words disrupt the natural flow of time. meanwhile alex doesn’t really change space time at all, she’s just very intuitive and picks up other people’s energy while being grounded in her own so she can transfer it. anyway that’s my theory.

Im not sure why, but something about showing these three characters, particularly with this song makes the tragedy surrounding these characters all the more intense. Along with the particular clips of the characters you’ve combined, especially for max and daniel. I keep playing this on repeat, even though its making me feel sad. Something about it just pulls you in. there is simply this bittersweet quality that comes with it that feels so comforting yet so tragic. Its like gazing at the stars on a moonless night.

Max is THE protagonist. Time always freezes for her, whether a conscious or subconscious decision, right before any life threatening events occurs, and that’s only in her first week of powers. Daniel is raw power, but Max’ hax is too OD. Not to mention that we haven’t even seen the extent to what her mastery over her powers could really be.

The official comics dived into this. Max became strong enough power wise with time manipulation to alter singular objects instead of the entire world around her. (An example of this is at one point on the comics she was having a snowball fight against chloe and manipulated the snowballs time to send it directly flying back at her without affecting anything but the snowball itself. Meaning Chloe or anything didn't rewind. Just the snowball. The snowball flew back at Chloe. It hit her with enough force to knock her down.
People claim it isn't canon but imo it is, especially since the literal writer of LiS1 wrote it before other people took over the games direction (aka LiS2)

It’s highly dependent on who makes the first move between Max and Daniel. Daniel can very well make her unable to move thus she cannot activate her ability and then snap her neck via telekinesis , however if Max is able to activate it and stop time before he has a chance to stop her. Now for Alex she more like an equalizer, if she teams up with Max she could read Daniel’s mind and coordinate with her to take him down. If Alex teams up with Daniel she could read Max’s mind and have Daniel stop her before she gets a chance to do anything. With all this said, imo I think Daniel has the edge considering he can hold you in place via telekinesis and doesn’t require his hands to move things unless it’s heavy.
Daniel isn't able to activate his powers as fast as Max is. Like when he tried to stop the guy at the farm, but got shot before he could do anything. Max's powers either go off immediately when she is in/senses danger like when Chloe gets shot, and she's able to rewind even in the restraint when Jefferson tied her up and David gets shot, and basically every other time the game tells you "She's about to get hurt, don't pick this", or she doesn't need to fully move her hands to use it. Realistically, she doesn't have offensive power, but she could rewind or slow/freeze for enough time to think of something, and this is just with current Max. Imagine what would happen if she had the amount of time the other two had to master her power. Remember, Daniel's strong, but it's implied that gravity and weight does still affect his telekinesis, hence why it was hard for him to move that rock. Now, obviously, it wouldn't take much effort for him to move Max by the end of the game, but there would still be a very miniscule delay for Max to rewind.

I think Max gets defense. Yeah, Daniel has the power to defend himself, but anything that isnt a killing blow or knocking her unconscious, Max can rewind it. If Daniel gets shot, he can fight back and defend himself from getting shot again, but if Max gets shot she can rewind and prepare, not getting shot to begin with.

Макс по комиксам в 100% силах научилась по всем альт мирам одним касанием тпхаться контролируя все при этом. Она намного имбовее будет. My Power Ranking:
Best - Max’s time manipulation (virtually untouchable to any attack she can react to)
Middle - Daniel’s force powers or “airbending” or whatever, it’s not really clear *what* it is (great physical power, capable of stopping bullets lifting people, and can even snap their necks)
Worst - Alex’s empath abilities (has absolutely NO physical capability, and aside from causing a Persona 5 “change of heart” emotionally breakdown, would be of no use in a fight)

daniel: military (not much to say, i mean kid is a walking tank, his powers have shown that they are capable of growth overtime unlike max's and alex's powers so his power could be hell on earth with enough time)
max: business (she can just reverse time when she feels like she made the wrong decision or when offering deals to see people's reaction then reverse accordingly)
yeah i always thought that if the government found out about Daniel they would try to either experiment on him or use him as a military tool

Michel Koch specifically said after LIS1, Max and Chloe’s story was over and he wanted to turn it into an anthology series and focus on new characters entirely. so you’re the one facing fanfics when consuming the comics lol, the comics are literally just fanservice because people didn’t want Max and Chloe to be over
+that’s also why LIS2 was so different, Michel never wanted to make any prequels or sequels with the same characters, or even similar stories. it was supposed to be an anthology series but he took risks and didn’t do much fan service with LIS2, he ended up getting kicked out of his own game franchise and DeckNine bought the rights to LIS and made BTS and TC, which are good games but also basically fanfics since they were made by a completely different company who was a fan of the original LIS1 and LIS2

@@jarrygarry5316well Alex is in normal time space so you would have to assume when Alex engages her power is AFTER the amount of time max can push back to has gone by because max is technically teleporting back to a point before alex does it unless Alex can go back in time too it's impossible to do something before max same with the attack she goes back to right before the attack and move to a different spot it will miss everytime

Even though Daniel's telekinesis gives him greater destructive power, Max's time manipulation gives her way more ways to win over anyone here.
As for Alex Chen, I don't know what she's supposed to do here. All she has his her empathy powers, and that's all. She lacks the power, attack, defense, or hax to stand a chance here.
She probably has the best psychical defense out of all 3
Alex is really not as weak as people say she is. Being able to take away someone's negative emotions entirely is one hell of a gift. Being able to feel EXACTLY what someone else feels is even better.
Just think about all the criminals that act on their emotions. She can just take it away, and with it their drive
If I was making the upcoming game, the person Max would be trying to save would be an older Daniel Diaz, as she would find out about his powers, and after the two connect, Max tries everything in her power to keep the only other person who might understand what she goes through alive.
