    PortuguesePai, thank you for providing your analysis on the crime and drug issues that have been created by the Federal Liberal government. It is people like yourself that provide real information to Canadians and it is appreciated.

    I like what Polievre says. It remains to be seen, once he is elected, if he will keep his word...

    6:13 Crime in India is far more common and violent than in Canada. As a matter of fact Arif did not migrate directly to Canada. He was brought here from Uganda after they started to purge their country of Indians. And its not like Uganda is less violent than Canada. So when they come here they "perceive" crime to be much lower than it is. Even when it has doubled from previous years. This wouldn't be a perception of a Canadian. Illegal immigration has brought violence to many parts of the world that hasn't suffered it for a long time.

    I have to agree with Pierre‘s answer. Drug treatment should be mandatory in prison sentences, but that’s just my opinion.

  • @AmandaHugandKiss411
    @AmandaHugandKiss411 Месяц назад

    Thank you for posting this, because I was worried about forced rehabilitation.
    It as for offering rehab as part of your prison sentence is already part of Alberta legal system as well as continual care after they have been released during parole.
    Herion is Bayer's brandname for morphine. look it up.
    Nobody getting black tar opium as safe supply.
    No just handing it out to people.
    Regulationed vendors just like alcohol is a regulated substance that has to be sold by licensed vendor.
    Morphine, cocaine, LSD, opiates, yes. Black tar opium no. Sold at vendors that you have to pay for, yes. No free hand outs.
    There are recreational users who do not develop addiction.
    Just like there's people who drink wine/beer recreationally or at the end of the day. Who don't become alcoholics.
    I think we need to be realistic. If you use safely and aren't commiting crimes, it should be allowed.
    BTW people die from alcohol poisoning and alcohol does end up in the hands of teens. Which is why it is regulated to help mitigate it.
    But to say this substance is bad and this one isn't is not accurate.
    Also, in Edmonton Alberta (I am not sure about Calgary), if you are on an opiate for long-term pain management, or related potentially addictive medications, they only dispense it in 7 days intervals for Schedule A controlled with no refills, and 14 days supply inyervals for 3 months refills for Schedule B.
    This way your doctor and your pharmacy can monitor you.
    If you do live with severe pain, there is no incentive to overtake your daily amount because you are going to short out before you can pick up your next refill. It isn't worth the agony of being in pain later.
    Plus, your less likely to abuse your medication if the risk is addiction because essentially that would mean you could never use that medicine again. So the long-term risk of being in chronic pain without proper pain management outweighs messing around with your medications.

    Poilievre is on point. Bureaucrats are not experts. I give Freeland , the Finance minister as a prime example.

    Just had a curiosity how long do you think it would take the conservatives to rectify these or change policies once they are in power?

    • @kathyde1906
      @kathyde1906 Месяц назад

      I think conservatives will try to change Libs/NDP policies, but even with change of policy there will be a lot of people (bureaucrats, activists, and so on) who will try to slow it down or stop it. There are a lots of money in illegal immigration business (all these lawyers, non-govt organizations, activists, some businesses, gangs, even some countries)or in "safe supply" business . So we won't see the results at once, some we will not see even after 2 or 3 years.
