Do you think it's better to start off with BTL to get experience with property, then go down HMO route. Was that what you did?
good to cut your teeth and build skills with a single BTL, you wouldn't want to make mistakes with a HMO given the money involved

Great insight! This proves that BTL is indeed dead.
I wouldn’t go as far as saying its dead but I will say it’s less profitable due to climbing interest rates
Did you have any issues when refinancing on your 1st deal as some lenders are reluctant to give inexperienced landlords HMO products?

Yes but it’s not a huge effect if I’m honest
Am on my 4 th brrr buy to let but as you say not much cash flow ,, do you help on hmo’s based close to Liverpool so its an ideal area 🤞
