I think it's because in some Hindu customs, like Punjabis, touching sharp objects like Scissors on your hair is considered bad. But they can't keep on growing their hair. So I think they use these methods

I really liked the vedio but more than that i love your way of telling and describing the hard work bcz normally people are going to salon and get impressed but you showed not only that but the depth of their work/job and their occupation ❤
I love this idea, it's innovative and something really new I have come across.
Direct fire is way convenient than heating the scissor again and again to lock the hair ends other wise the cost would be way higher than it is already as well as time taking.
I think it is a really great idea specially when somebody is expert at. Now a days people look for more innovative ideas and he truly deserve a big round of applause for that. Same old thing would always run but won't be a lit like this hair dresser.
