I have the Ring doorbell camera. Useless.. (IMO) It takes around 30 seconds to get a notification because it insists on coming from the Amazon server then too your phone even if you're at home. Then if something updated in the app (You won't really know its updated), you have to log in to Amazon through your phone with ALL yourvdetails (Which is full email & complex password which isn't stored on the phone). That's before you can respond to the caller who's now gone because they left within the first 15 seconds. _If I remember correctly it requires 2 step verify too._ Again, it insists on connecting to Amazon first through your home internet connection, then back to your router to inform your phone or through your data network of your phone provider depending on your phones vicinity of the router. You can't even capture locally from your WIFI To your connected computer / phone because the door camera can't really be seen even within your router, it has to authorize through Amazon and the internet. Send it back. :)
yea thats not how the ring works at all. Do you really think people would put up with the nonsense you just came up with? Takes all of 1-2 seconds after someone pushes the door bell to get a notification on your phone. Like everything you said is just nonsense.
