Natural Turn turns to right. Closed Change has no turn.

This couple's dancing is fantastic -- with the exception of the timing. Everything is way too fast. For example most all step "3"s should occur about half way between beats 3 and 1 of the music. This couple, for example with their prep step, steps their 3 slightly before beat 3, making them nearly 1 beat too fast. But this is not limited to step 3s. All steps are too fast. For a demonstration of correct timing, see Edgar and Eliza's dancing from your channel: ruclips.net/video/Bn0tWKCHJG0/видео.html. Their step "3" of the prep step occurs half way between beats 3 and 1 of the music. All top pros more or less use this timing.

The values of the counts depend on many different factors...Interpretation used by the dancers, style of the couple & characterisics of the choreography. You're right about shuffle timing, but in this video of Master Mr Eglis Smagris the couple dances basics WDSF choreography , and they do a fantastic job.

@@Slufferbeiste I understand that in certain choreographies that some steps will be taken more quickly to allow steps of following figures to work. And yes, there is some individuality in different dance couples. But these are basic syllabus figures and in this case every step is taken too early. You will never see any top level dancer using the timing this couple uses. Watch Mirko, Arunas, Hilton, and Pino in their dancing of syllabus figures, and any couple at a top competition. Top WDSF dancers use the same timing as well.
