This is invaluable. Just now getting into this classic for the first time and while I love Avalon Hill games their manuals can be a bit obtuse. Much obliged.
Really nice job! This is an excellent tutorial, very easy to understand and great pacing. I've been thinking to revisit this game and this will help speed up the re-learning process. Marvelous, thanks for sharing!
Hey it's great to see you back to a boardgame again. This must be a game on my list for the absolute longest time, I mean many years. I still haven't owned any naval games at all, except Hunt for Red October about 30 years ago :) But thats doesn't count :) You have the perfect tutorial voice and manner, I enjoyed listening. I'd be interested to know why you chose WSaIM. Is it because it's one of the better age of sail games? Do you have the physical version? Anyway, it was really clear and useful thank you! 😊
Cheers, mate. It's good to be back. Autumn is a difficult time for me, so it's been hard to get going. Thankfully, Zilla Blitz has been helping me with motivation, and I'm finally back at it. I do own the game, I have the 1976 Bicentennial Edition. which I bought in about 1980. It's an old one but a good one, especially with the advanced rules, and the various rulings that have come down since the rules were published. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial - it's something I think I'll move into more often. As to old games...the reason I play so many old games is, my collection is ancient. I'm on a fixed income, so buying them now is difficult, so I'm stuck relying on old favourites. :)
@@OldLadyPlays Well I'm glad you're back at it and ok. I can identify with the fixed income thing, me too. And I've had to curb my buying and consider some older games. Nothing wrong with that, and so many people still want the information for older games. Keep it up just the way you're doing, it's really enjoyable! :)

Excellently presented!
Great tutorial! Thank you much
