The source is similar but the orchestration style of Britten is quite diferent from that of Respighi, they are not even close :) Resighi is heavier than Britten, who is always very sparse with doublings and orchestral groups.

It is unfortunate that Sir Adrian Boult's recording (in mono) is not available...it was a lot more spirited than Ms. Faletta's performance.
