Hello, for speed synchronization this can be done very easily by wiring the AFM terminal of the master drive into AVI, ACI or AUI terminals of the follower drive. For position synchronization this is not possible because in order to run drives in positioning mode they need to be configured in IMFOCPG or PMFOCPG modes (pr00-11=3 or 4). This means that an encoder or resolver has to be mounted on the motor shaft and then a PG card which can read their signals has to be mounted in Slot 2 of the drive.
Please have you any demonstration and parameters on C2000 working in torque control. I have to control tension on a wire to be always as straight as can be.In schneider atv900 series i use 2 analogs( 1speed,1 torque) and D/I (start and torque inputs) and set current limits for torque.If current under my limit means wire is loose so it uses torque to adjust tension.Above that , is uses speed limitation as also in the beginning of movement(start fwd)
Hello, I believe that would be a nice function to demonstrate in a future video. Thank you for the idea! At the moment there is no particular video on this but if you already have the drive up and running in speed mode in FOCPG mode (pr00-11=3 or 4) then it is quite easy to set it up for the torque control application that you described. Pr00-10=2 (0 - speed mode, 1 - position mode, 2 - torque mode); Pr00-13=0 (induction motor) or 1 (permanent magnet motor); Pr00-20=2 (AI acts as frequency command/limit); Pr00-21=1 (start/stop from DI); Pr03-00=2 (define AVI terminal as torque reference); Pr03-01=1 (define ACI terminal as speed limit); Pr11-33=2 (AI acts as torque reference); Pr11-36=2 (pr00-20 defines the source of speed limit); If you let us know your location then we can guide you to one of our regional offices or distributors who could gladly help you further.
Sir can you also demonstrate the torque mode c2000 for winders application.. or 2 ac motors synchronized running above 60hz while maintaining tension between the two motors (winder application) many thanks sir
I have an application of 2 Motor Driving a chain, need to run in Stable Constant Speed with load sharing purpose. Can you propose me an Hardware & Parameter Setup for this application???
Whats the best way to contact Delta technical support? I have a delta CH2000 and setting 10-19 is "reserved" (but it shouldnt be - according to manual). Cant program motor internal position. Version 2.06 firmware. Please help
Hello, as of firmware V2.06 (released on date code 2031) the Single-point positioning was moved from pr10-19 into parameters 11-65 (high byte) and 11-66 (low byte). This function is still triggered by digital input MIx=35. For more information you can contact us at iatechnicalsupport@deltaww.com
Hello, we will send you the complete parameter files via email. In this video the Master drive was set to run in Speed mode (pr00-10=0) and the Follower drive was running in Positioning mode (pr00-10=1). The motors used are Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor types. Before you start any tests in Positioning mode it is important to make sure that the drive is configured for FOCPG mode (pr00-11=3 or 4). If needed we have other application notes to help you configure it. To make sure that the drive is running properly in FOCPG you can start by first running in velocity mode (pr00-10=0) and checking the behavior of the motor at very low speeds and also at zero speed. In FOCPG the motor should be able to develop full torque even at 0Hz. It is possible to set pr00-04=21 in order to monitor the motor position on the keypad. Once you are sure that the drive is running properly in Speed mode then you can switch to Positioning mode.
Hello, you can use the link and password below to download the parameter files that were used on the drives from this video. You can use VFDSoft to read them. Inside the .zip file you will also find a quick Technical Note on how to configure the drives. Link: globalftp.deltaww.com/File/SharedVerify?id=Arsssk7GgkiUVzjTYK8g4oBHZwBgkA Password: eDOKhHeCxKOt
do you have two encoder and two pg card? can not use analog output of one drive as analog input for second ?

Pr00-10=2 (0 - speed mode, 1 - position mode, 2 - torque mode);
Pr00-13=0 (induction motor) or 1 (permanent magnet motor);
Pr00-20=2 (AI acts as frequency command/limit);
Pr00-21=1 (start/stop from DI);
Pr03-00=2 (define AVI terminal as torque reference);
Pr03-01=1 (define ACI terminal as speed limit);
Pr11-33=2 (AI acts as torque reference);
Pr11-36=2 (pr00-20 defines the source of speed limit);

hi i have the same application of master follower with torque control so may i know the pg card discription
For 11-40=1, is it necessary that MIx=90-ON (version 02.06)?
