It's a great video! Very helpful. BUT: How can I define the z coordinate in polygons when drawing them? How do I configure the polygons to be on different planes (at different heights)?
Wolfgang Walden I want to build 60ft in diameter wide dome in 4v. An you please explain the same method for this too. Or can you help how can I achieve the same results
I just put a POINT there, in order to make the points look like mine you have to change the "pointstyle" - if not changed it looks just like one lonely pixel.
Greatttt, I didnt know that Autocad had such surface features like Rhino. I love Autocad
:)
NICE JOB, HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE RADIUS OF EACH PLOYGONE AS YOU PROGRESS UP TO THE APEX?
Not at all, I´ve modelled this "dome" according to a drawing. That drawing was sent to me by a user.
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training thanks a lot, I appreciate that...
Great! Thank you. This was very helpful for me!
Great, you´re welcome.
Mr. Walden, tank you.
You´re welcome

you have to "move" them after creation to the wanted z-coordinate - use the "move command" or the "gizmo"
fratellì ma io ti lovvo sei un grande siuuuuum
thanks :)
I am not able to add height while putting the co ordinates. My all the polygons are in same plane. How can i fix them??
sorry - can´t tell without seeing your drawing, after all I´m not a clairvoyant.
Thanks . I learnt something new
Great :)
You shown the layers isnt working the drafting in 3d modelling na??
Sorry, what do you mean?
Thanks for this good work , but if i want to make it for 2V dome (10sided) how?!
Please watch my "soccerball" video : ruclips.net/video/JFo3nXRLAJ8/видео.html this might help
good morning I would like to know how the calculations of each dodecahedron are made?
Not at all, I´ve got a drawing with the dimensions from a user. So it isn´t a real perfect dome. For the math you could use google ;)
Great video
Thanks :)
Thanks, its an amazing video.
Thanks, you´re welcome.
Can you please tell me what is column button that you are using after entering each measurements
"," = comma
hello mr. Wolfgand walde firstly thank you for share we , ı need radius 4 m the dome project can you help me plase ?
So just do the same exercise with 4m radius, what is your problem?
Please sir how could I fill the surface in a layer like this
I got a grid of lines🥺
Sorry, what do you want to do? You want a grid consisting of triangles?
how to add Door in dome
.....plz can you make a video on that....plzz
What is you problem regarding a door?
@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training I wanna add a Door.. But I don't know how... So can you make a video on that?
@DM Master Designs sure
Será posible un video en español?
Sorry, I don´t speak spanish.
how did you work out the height dimensions?
Not at all. I got a drawing from the one who wished for it.

good but hight and dim
Hello, you can visit my channel!
@DM Master Designs I know I just came from your channel. Very impressive. That oldman sucks here on this boring channel.
I would had prefere make an polar array for each level of traingles.
Feel free to do so ;)

@@wolfgang.walden.cad.training After putting a period there, press the tab key, then you used another command, which command
Tab zero tab zero...
Dear sir please can u send me a commands step by steap
Hi, sorry you can´t do it with this video? It is step by step. I have no list with the commands.

It is in HD 1080p - so maybe you should check your eyes or your computer ;)
1907.88 & 871.78 this value Not understand
I´ve got a drawing with dimensions by mail, the dimensions were taken from that drawing. There is nothing to understand.
