    Love all of your choices. You probably already heard of Build Your Library and she uses History Quest for level 1!

    Loved seeing what you have planned for the upcoming school year! That History Quest looks interesting. I'm going to check look into that. I'd like to see the inside of it.

    Love this!! We basically use all the same things except for history quest. We are currently doing story of the world. Not a lot of secular homeschool moms out there so really appreciate your videos.

      @@OdetoAbode we do!! I have the books and bought the mp3 too we listen during breakfast and do either the activity from the activity book or map work and then use the usborne world history encyclopedia pages that is recommended in the activity book.

      @@dianachen4986 SOTW & HQ look very similar... I heard that SOTW has more religious content and that's why I chose HQ... But I have also seen people combine them (their activity pages) ... I may need to do a side by side comparison!

      @@OdetoAbode when I first started homeschooling all I could find was the religious curriculum so just use it and skipped the religious stuff. I didn’t know HQ excited.

    I'm a new subscriber and love your curriculum choices. I have been eyeing b&r science 2, and am excited to see how it works for you. We are also about to start sci level 0.

    Deciding to homeschool has been a long process. I am a parent of a special needs child and we are doing the trial and error. We also have a channel documenting our journey and write no going through some curriculum trials if you want to check out.

      I'm mumma to a couple of special needs kids, I personally think home education is the best way to meet their individual needs.

    currently planning. third year homeschooling. first year for structured curriculum. looking into AAS and making my own bilingual reading program. May buy MCT? Poodle knows What i think its called. For science I’m likely purchasing some of sonlight’s resources and adding library books. History/ geography still not sure. May use vooks lesson plans and just checking out books. math singapore! need to purchase soon.

    Mind me asking what your eyes are on for future ELA? I am in a similar place and wondering if you are considering similar programs.

      Right now, the program I'm most excited to try is Michael Clay Thompson ... I will still need to supplement spelling, some social studies type reading and maybe more literature. But yeah that's where I'm looking 😎

      @@OdetoAbode Also, you were using TYCTR100 in earlier videos. Did it not work? Why did you end up having to use AAR curriculum?
