@@SmackyYT They can't learn mid-game, only in dedicated training sessions, but small changes in how the other team does their kickoff can make them do things they usually wouldn't though

I'm a rl bot creator and yeah seer is unbelievable compared to any other bot. It has the basics of the game down to a tee. No mistakes, ever. A coding masterpiece
Those fake kickoffs were the sauce. It's funny that the bots were doing bump plays and full field air dribbles but they fell to kickoffs. It was too funny seeing Mertzy hit the cross bar all those times too. Pulse popped off mid game and showed the bots what it looks like to freestyle. 10/10
i definitely made the focus "trying to beat the bots", so this is very valid feedback. i understand how i could have let the AI play more, sorry about that :c
Mertzy reach out to devs and get them to introduce this to everyone as this could be very helpful for players to train vs these AIs and would be so helpful in so many ways!
I really like watching people play these bots. But everyone does the same thing they just abuse the kickoff I would like to see someone win against these bots without abusing kickoff
I'm wondering if Seerv6 hooks into the game process to fetch its information or if it reads the bitmap information on the frames themselves. If it reads the frames this consistency is absolutely mind boggling but if it hooks into the game engine then I could kind of see how with reinforcement learning and publicly available replays from the top 100 players with data optimization and a solid reward design you should be able to get a decently performing bot in a reasonable time span. However, the technical knowledge to get this done is very impressive on itself and I commend the creator for keeping it private. EDIT: I also wonder if the settings need to be locked for the bot or it will adapt to using different configurations and/or cars.
When he said the screen corrupted I was like no it did not he just own goaled it am I right cuz I think he do and that’s why his teammate said there’s three ai’s now 😂
They should create AI for every rank that we can play with in Custom Games for practice Like a Silver Bot where it stays on the ground and never arials And Platinum Bots do Better Arials Then Champs with Air Dribbles and Better mechanics
What you guys should’ve done is abused the kickoff weakness more. Like literally just let them score, so that way you get a free chance at kickoff, then if you score off kickoff, you get another chance, but if you don’t then just let them score again. That way you get more kickoff opportunities. The strat is just hope you can score more than 50% of your kickoffs.
Damn, I never knew Pulse MK was German, I must've actually never seen a video of him talking before, this is the first time I realised his German accent

Pretty sure there's still bots in rocket league even today about a week ago I got into a match with "players" that did perfect flicks couldn't Ariel to save their coding. Did that little jitter turn thing bots do when they don't know where to go and Where litterally called "jaun bot 1" and "jaun bot 2"
The actual game wasn't that close for the bots ( 2-3 ) on the ultrawide GC channel they lost 4 times in a row, I think Pulse MK and Mertzy played the bot at least 10 times
Do the bots get to know all the coordinates, angles and velocities of entities on the field or do they also only get a 2D view from which to infer things? The former seems unfair
Also is it one hive mind controlling both players, are they independent AIs or do they have some form of communication ability as input/outputs to two separate AIs ... so many questiosn
@@rewolferThey have all of the exact info directly inputted, and each bot is individually controlled. However, the only teammate the bot ever had was itself, so it kinda “knows” what the other one will do in each scenario.
Do you want them to be some humanoid robots sitting at a desk playing looking at the screen with cameras and holding the controllers with robot hands? Otherwise, i think it quite simple to write some code that transforms frames into velocities by having the camera consistently swivel to look at the entire field. It would be some quite boring part of the code that does that.
@@barakeel I don't want anything. Doesn't have anything to do with what I want. Was a question and an opinion. It has to do more work in first inferring it using computer vision (or other sensory inputs), like humans do. That was my comparison. (I don't expect that from RL bots TBH. @@rewolfer "My emphasis was the bots beating humans in a game is quite expected (inevitably) if they're given numbers like that directly." It was far from inevitable.
