@@YukoMiyamoto-jj1uq DC was a former heavyweight champion and overall amazing fighter. His physique didn’t matter. I get what you’re saying though. He was athletic but Chris Hero never got a push because of his physique. He also started looking way more sluggish in his later run. You have to try and look the part if you’re gonna make it in wrestling
as always, this was pretty enjoyable! Bit of trivia for you: - CJ Parker is likely better known as Juice Robinson. He sticks around for a WHILE in NXT, and the main highlight of his run there was busting open Kevin Owens’ nose in his debut. - Sofia Cortez surprisingly only has a handful of matches in NXT, i think she only has one or two more after this that were televised. - Don’t remember if its come up before, but Derrick Bateman is better known as EC3. Its WEIRD seeing him as a young dude with a full head of hair and not completely out of his mind yet. As per usual, thanks for the great vids. Looking forward to the next one!
@@dwightyboy5324 The standard got higher and she just doesn’t move the same because of her past with injuries. You can tell she’s frightened of getting hurt and it’s ok to work safely but it gets to a point where you shouldn’t be in the ring if you can’t make shit look good. Her and Britt move at a snails pace .
@@FriedEra without a doubt. It's crazy what women's wrestling looked like in WWE in 2012. Only place it was taken seriously enough was TNA. For me I just never found Paige interesting, even back then. She was okay, but I never saw her as much watch.
Apologies, I've had to cut out two clips from this episode to avoid copyright (intro + ending clip).
Big miss opportunity to put Chris Hero and Cesaro in a tag team like they were in the indies
I liked Chris hero but he just never got in shape unfortunately. He was fucking awesome on the indies as well
@@FriedEra i mean if he could do all that stuff in the ring he must have been in shape
@@YukoMiyamoto-jj1uq That doesn’t mean he’s in shape. 😂😂 I like Chris Hero but he never had the look. 🤷🏿♂️
@@FriedEra dunno how it doesnt if thats the case DC never looked in shape but was cant understand why the same logic wouldnt apply to hero🤷♂

Juice is so good nowadays
@@sportswithaj3096oh, for real. He’s improved leaps and bounds as both a character and an in-ring wrestler.
CJ parker nxt theme was a banger. A eco friendly tony hawk-esque type of song 😂
I thought that Ohno would have been the most obvious star of the early NXT.
I remember creating him in WWE 13
Thanks bro
God Ivalise hope I'm saying that right was way better than Paige in the ring atleast in this video.
Never really was a fan of Paige tbh. She was okay for the time (2012-2015) but I think people overrate her way to much.

@@dwightyboy5324 Yeah growing up,the knockouts were miles ahead of the divas . They had women like Hamada and Victoria (my wife)
@@dwightyboy5324 Awesome Kong as well
The fact that Hero was allowed on WWE television with a body like his…mind-boggling
He has a thyroid condition
Thanks bro
